Mateo Rocci Pov

Today is race day. I qualified first yesterday and the car is really feeling Good. Im gonna win.

Me and the guys had a chill night in at Kai's place after quali, and we talked a lot. I remembered to ask them about Emma's friends, and any future plans. We settled on maybe going out all of us one day, and even tonight. I haven't spoken to Emma but I think they would be up for it. They were also asking about me and Emma. The only answer I had was that it was nice and natural.

After Emma left last morning I have just been in a happy bubble, so I knew the guys knew what was up. But I didn't care, I am in love.

I was very excited to see Emma in the paddock today. I don't invite women to my races, unless it is my mother or sister. Maria was actually coming for this race so I might have to introduce Emma to her, even though they have already met.

I came to the track pretty early, and I made my way to the garage. I talked with the team when I see my sister walk in the garage, looking for me. I wave to her, and she comes up to me and gives me a hug.

"Hey Maria, how you doing?"I ask my sister. She is a stunner, and I know a few of the guys around here has a liking to her. But I, as the brother I am, told them to back off. Also she had a boyfriend at that time, whom cheated on her.

She takes a breath "better for now" she says as she gives me a straight face. She looked a bit tired and a bit unwell if I might say so. I knew she was in the middle of a tough breakup at them moment so all I could do, was to be there for her. When Maria told me that her boyfriend had cheated on her, I was totally furious. I never liked that guy.

I look at Maria one more time. I take a glance at the clock on the wall behind me. Emma must be arriving soon. I turn to Maria.

"You remember the girl that bumped into you in the bathroom like a week ago?" I ask her and she nods carefully. I feel a smile grow on my face "Well I've been hanging around her the last days, and she's coming here today"I say and Maria lets out a gasp.

"Mateo Rocci, you're telling me that you. The man that has never invited other women, other than me and mama, has invited a girl you met last week?" She lets out a giggle. I nod.

"It's just, we really hit it off. Emma is such a sweet, good hearted person. You're going to love her I just know" I smile even more at the thought of my sweet Emma. Maria smiles and giggles.

"I've never seen you more in love Mateo" Maria looks at me a bit confused. She was right. I haven't in love like this.

"But just like, when I race, make sure she's not alone okay? I know she's really nervous to be here. The media took some pictures of us when we were on my yacht a few days ago and Emma got a bit scared" i spill out to my sister, and she nods. They will hit it off right away, I just know.

I ask Maria about how stuff is going, and about the breakup, still being a bit careful. We are in a deep conversation when I see a blonde girl walk in. Emma.

Today she is wearing a gorgeous pink summer dress that was mid thigh. Her hair is put up halfway with a flower clip. Her face has a bit more makeup on than usual. And around her neck is the best part of the outfit. Her paddock pass, giving her access everywhere. She notices me looking at her and she smiles as she walks up to me. I open my arms and give her a hug. People around in the garage take a glance at us. But I didn't care.
