What defines a villain?By popular definition, 'a villain is someone who does bad things for a bad cause.' For example, a greedy son murders his sister to inherit the entireity of his fathers will, for a less extreme example.. someone spread rumors amongst their peers in order to damage the reputation of a rival, maybe even their own friends in order to gain the spotlight. Those are all textbook examples of villains, but what about those who do bad deeds for a good cause? What about those who steal to support their dying mother? What about those who killed another in order to save their love? Are we to believe those who have killed or steal to be a villain? No, we cannot. However, the law those not think of those possibilities, as those who have commited crime, with any reasoning, are criminals, villains. But that's not fair now, is it? How can you look at someone who has good intentions to be a villain? How corrupt must you be to believe that? You are sick.
You heroes are all sick.
That was what Chinyu thought, at least. She looked up from the glass filled with bronze colored apple juice to the mysterious purple shadows belonging of the high end nomu she worked with, Kurogiri. He eyed her carefully, squinting his yellow eyes at her, examining her, inspecting her. Chinyu was one of the newer villains the league recruited, AFO personally inviting her himself. They connected eyes, leading Chinyu to shy away from his gaze, shifting in her seat in an attempt to make herself look smaller, making the bartender across from her chuckle. "Are you still nervous?" Kurogiri asked, his deep voice echoing through the room. A shiver running down her spine as she felt intimidated by her fellow villain, his looming figure making her own look cowardly. "A little.. I've always worked alone, so I'm not used to having others so close to me." She admitted with a sheepish voice, letting her head rest on her arm on the cocktail table, her other hand circling the top of the glass with her pale fingers, watching the bronze liquid mimick her movements. Kurogiri extended an arm towards Chinyu, placing a palm on her head, gently caressing her head with his hand, attempting to soothe her worries. "It's alright, you'll soon get used to our presence." Chinyu hummed at his promising words, closing her eyes as he continued to caress her head reassuringly.
The door to the room opened, making Chinyu abruptly lift her head from the table as if to appear more professional. She turned her attention towards the new arrival, following Kurogiri. "Welcome back, Shigaraki." Kurogiri welcomed back the dark turqouise haired man, Shigaraki waving a hand in front of him to acknowledge his words. He eyes Chinyu as he took a seat next to her, immedietly slouching in his seat, his elbows on table with his chin on top of his hands, looking at Kurogiri. With just his gaze alone. Kurogiri and gave him a glass full of beer, sliding it towards Shigaraki, which he caught. Shigaraki took a swing from his glass, the bronze liquid oozing into his throat before looking at Chinyu, who was already staring at him with fear and admiration. "So nice to finally see you here." Shigaraki said in a snarky tone, looking away from her and back to the glass below him.
"Be nice, Shigaraki." Kurogiri adviced, his tone firm
"Why should I? Just because AFO recruited her doesn't mean I have to be nice to her." Shigaraki snapped back, annoyed.
"That doesn't mean you get to be impolite either." Kurogiri continued as Shigaraki scoffed, looking away from the both of them. Kurogiri shook his head, looking at the petrified girl in her seat, horror painted over her soft features, with her pale brown eyes having a mix of fear and cowardice behind them. "I apologize for his behaviour. He isn't too kind with new members." Kurogiri explained, his voice filled with sincerity, leading Chinyu to slightly relax her body, her wide eyes softening back into its normnal shape. "That's fine.." Chinyu got out of her seat, finishing her glass of apple juice before making her way towards the exit. Her black boots clacking with each swift step she took before exiting the building, leaving the two men alone in the bar, dissapointment painted on one of their faces while the other simply didn't care.
Outside, the weather was cloudy, most of the pedestrians holding out an umbrella in case if it rains. Chinyu stepped out of the run down building and into the grey sidewalk, taking in a deep breath before continuing her walk. She let her head hang low, avoiding the people walking past her. She continued to walk around town until it started to rain, until the bustling streets turned quiet as people started to slowly dissapear from the sidealk and into their homes, leaving only her and her thoughts in the gloomy rain, an occasional car passing by them. Despite all this, she never looked up from the floor, her eyes focused on the cement below her, only occasionally lifting in order to avoid street lamps and trash cans of the like. She let out a sigh as the rain drenched her clothes and air, every step she took making a loud sqwelching noise in its wake. Her grey hair stuck to her face, her clothes sticking to her skin as she continued to walk through the darkened streets.
She turned the corner of a building, not noticing the man until she accidentaly bumped into him. She fell down to the cement floor, holding her head with one of her hands
