ch-1 A mess

Being lost in her thoughts Aafiya was sitting in her balcony while reading a book. Her khala's voice brought her back to her senses as her khala was calling her for dinner. Keeping her book aside she stood up and went downstairs.reaching to the dinning room she saw her Khala, khalu and her cousin sister already present there. she quitly went and sat on her chair beside her sister. Everyone started eating in silence while taking glances at aafiya who was not paying attention to anything. Her khala looked at her worriedly and then glared at her husband indicating to speak. He cleared his throat getting aafiya's attention. She looked at him then at her plate.

Khalu- is the packing over?

Aafiya- ji.(Yes)

The hall again filled with the silence. This was not really that new cause she is not much of a talker that much anyway, but today she is like a mute girl. Making everyone a little worried.

Khalu- look aafiya this day had to come one day and now it's here so we can't just ignore it.

Aafiya- i know khalu jaan. Obviously she knew this day will come and she was not ignoring it. She knew this has to happen one day and now she can't deny it. I am done. Saying this she got up and left towards her room. Everyone sighed knowing very well whats going on in her mind.

Aafiya came to her room and started packing her college stuff which was still unpacked. Her sister came in her room which she didn't notice cause she was lost in her thoughts.

Sana- need any help? aafiya sadly smiled at her while a tear rolled down her cheek. Sana wiped it softly. What happen aafiya, are you still thinking about them? Aafiya nods her head while Sana just sighed. They are nice aafiya, trust me.

Aafiya- i know Sana, and I am not denying that but it's just really wierd, now when I think about them my mind is a mess.

Sana- it's ok girl , you'll be alright once you go there and it's not like they are total strangers to you.

It's true, she lived with them before, 9 years back.but not everything is changed. She did search about her brothers because of them being famous and as they are THE GREAT KHAN BROTHERS. And being their one and only sister she was going to be in the title as well like probably, THE GREAT KHAN SIBLINGS. She was just not ready for this change.

Reassuring her, Sana went away and aafiya went to bed knowing it's her last night here....As the morning came aafiya was just getting nervous every passing minute. Ready to go to the khan mansion everyone gathered in the hall . Her khala looked at her as tears collected in her eyes she cups her face, Speaking softly.

Khala- they are your family aafiya you don't need to worry ok. Her khala and khalu treated her just like their own child they never saddened her.even though Sana didn't liked her earlier because her parents attention was only on Aafiya but later on she accepted her whole heartedly.Aafiya nods her head as her khalu keeps his hand on her head. They move to the car and settled down as they moved to their destination.

She came out of the car and stood staring at the big mansion. Where she lived was a mansion too but not big as much as this one. Memories came through her mind reminding the moments of her life.

Her khalu nudged her to move in and they went to the entrance where her parents were standing with a smile and teary eyes.

Aafiya- Assalamualaikum. She greeted and they greeted back. Asra khan quickly engulfed her daughter in a hug taking her by surprise, she didn't hug her back which made asra sad but she ignored it and moved back.
