Several years had passed since Christine ascended to the role of CPU Goddess and Protector of CWCville. As the town slowly recovered from the Nazi invasion and the altered events of the Anchuent Prophecy, the diligent efforts of CWCville's Protector helped tie up loose ends, allowing the community to heal. However, this story doesn't belong to her—it never was.
In the streets of CWCville, a construction team diligently worked on rebuilding Manchester High School, which had been destroyed during the invasion. Three workers toiled away until one decided to take a break, leaving his puzzled colleagues behind.
"Hey, Ted, why'd you stop all of a sudden?" inquired Bob, perplexed by the sudden halt in work.
"Well, Bob, it's just... it's all too much after everything we've been through. I'm afraid I've lost the will to continue," Ted confessed, his voice trembling. "My wife left me, took the kids, and ran off with some jerk."
"Come on, Ted, just a little more effort, and things will look up! Miss Christine will guide us to a better life," reassured Bob, encouraging his colleague to persevere.
"You're right, Bob!" Ted exclaimed, wiping away his tears and returning to work. "I'm grateful for Miss Christine Weston Chandler."
As they labored, the third worker noticed a fleeting movement nearby, but upon investigation, found nothing. Confusion clouded his mind until a sharp blow from a baton rendered him unconscious, his head echoing with the sound of impact.
"What was that?!" Bob shouted, turning to see a figure brandishing a baton while their colleague lay sprawled on the ground.
"A jerkop?!" Ted exclaimed in disbelief.
Bob seized a shovel, ready to defend against the assailant, but before he could act, a swarm of jerkops appeared, surrounding them both. Just as they braced for an assault, a yellow blur streaked past, knocking out the aggressor who had attacked their comrade.
"One down!" announced the yellow blur, revealing itself to be Sonichu, the electric hedgehog Pokémon.
Sonichu sprang into action, unleashing a barrage of lightning-fast attacks on the jerkops, incapacitating them with a powerful thunder shock. With the immediate threat neutralized, the workers approached Sonichu, relief evident on their faces.
"Sonichu, my man! It's been a while," one of the workers greeted enthusiastically.
"Yeah, I've been busy spending time with Rosey in New York. You wouldn't believe the shenanigans we've been through," Sonichu replied with a cheerful grin.
As Sonichu recounted his adventures, a jerkop attempted to sneak up on him, swinging a baton with malicious intent. Alerted by his construction workers, Sonichu turned just in time to see the impending attack. But before the baton could strike, it froze in mid-air, halted by an unseen force. A purple aura enveloped the jerkop as they were lifted into the air, their body convulsing before being forcefully expelled backward, leaving a gaping hole in the air.
As the dust settled, Magi-Chan materialized, his psychic powers having saved Sonichu from harm once again.
"Magi-Chan, Sonichu!" Sonichu exclaimed, his joy evident as Magi descended to meet him.
"Mother informed me of the jerkop attack, so I was dispatched to handle it. However, your presence here was unexpected," Magi explained.
"Yeah, I just heard the commotion and wanted to see what was going on," Sonichu replied.
Magi's gaze shifted to Sonichu's tail, a reminder of the painful incident at the mall where it had been severely injured and subsequently amputated.
"How are you feeling?" Magi inquired, concern evident in his tone.
