Dante's day had been going great. He had dinner with family, he got to speak with the orphans, he learned that the guy Mikasa was mourning at the tree in the underworld was still alive and had saved Nero with his mysterious powers. But like all good things in his life, they eventually came crashing down like a jenga tower.

A demonic portal had opened up within the kitchen behind Nico. Dante's body acted on its own before he could even think. The Devil Sword Dante materialized in his right hand while he sprinted indoors from standing next to Patty and grabbed Nico by her shirt. He pulled the unknowing gunsmith from an oncoming attack and tossed her aside into an empty chair before he intercepted the attack with his weapon and knocking a sword out of the attackers hand, letting it fall onto the floor.

'A Scudo Angelo's sword!'

Dante backed away as a platoon of demons entered through the portal and revealed themselves to the Devil Hunter, all of them led by a Proto Angelo. "Nico! Go get Kyrie and the kids and get them out!" Dante yelled. He wouldn't be playing with his food today. He furrowed his eyebrows and charged into combat with the Proto Angelo and nearly took off its head with a single swing if it had not leaned its head back just in time before retaliating with a diagonal swing with its broadsword from the ground up.

Dante moved his sword out of the way as to not let himself be knocked off balance but took the opportunity to drop to the ground and sweep the demon off its feet before going on the attack once more and cutting through the platoon leader horizontally from in between the legs and let his blade carve through the demon until it exited from the disgusting body through the centre of its head. As the two halves of the demons fell, a door was sent off its hinges and crashed against a demon before two bullets went through the head of another, leaving the rest of its kind raised their shields in front of them.

Dante didn't need turned back to know that an angry Nero was behind him, though out of the corner of his eyes, he could see Patty aiming her Colt Single Action Army Revolver, trying to find any openings in between the demons wall of shields she could exploit. "We just need to keep them contained to the kitchen and dining room while Nico gets everyone out of the house" he said out loud for Patty. Dante took out Ebony from its holster and charged forwards towards the demons and shoulder tackled his way through the wall of shields and brought the demons attention all into himself and stopped running when he made it to the kitchen sink.

With the line of defence broken, Nero and Patty got in on the action as they took out demons from the dinning room as Dante slaughtered his way through the crowd that was still coming through the portal. "Welcome to the kitchen. Here we are going to turn a bunch of hungry demons into a nice and delicious stew of death" he taunted as he pistol whipped a demon before shooting it in the back of the head before moving onto the next closest Scudo Angelo and shooting its kneecaps to bring it onto its knee's.

"The first ingredient we need is some good ole blind demons" four spectral red blades began to spin at high speeds around the demons head before closing in on its neck and turned the kneeling Scudo Angelo into a sprinkler of blood which landed onto every demon, including Dante's face. Other demons were unlucky enough to get their comrades blood in their eyes before meeting their own ends to the giant black sword Dante swung around while the spinning red blades stopped spinning and were aimed at four individual demons heads before they were fired off with the power of a high caliber sniper rifle.

With the numbers quickly dwindling, Dante took a glance at the portal and sighed as a Hell Judeccas emerged through the portal and sent one of its extendable blade arms in the direction of the garage entrance where its blade would miss its target and get stuck in in a wall and its target came into view. Mikasa. She ducked underneath its disgusting tendril like arm and ran down the hallway that led to the garage.
'Why is she going to the Garage?' Dante mentally questioned as he evaded an attack from a Scudo Angelo from behind without paying much attention to it.
