"Come on, baby, time to get up" your eyes fluttered as you heard your girlfriend's voice at the other side of the bed.
"Alexxxx" you drawled "Alex come back to bed" you groaned as Alex flung back the curtains.
"As much as I would love to be back in bed with you right now, we're going to be late" Alex turned around to face you as she absentmindedly finished the morning routine of opening the blinds and then the windows slightly.
"Baby pleaseeee" you grinned hoping it would work.
"Later okay?" Alex smiled back as she pulled you up to kiss you "you feeling okay?" Alex stepped back slightly to touch your forehead to check your temperature.
"What-are you doing?" you furrowed your brow.
"Checking your temperature" Alex nodded.
"Okay listen Dr Cabot, I'm fine" you chuckled "It's just allergies, I'll be fine to go to work" you nodded.
Alex giggled back as she kissed your forehead "You are hot though" she worried slightly.
You playfully rolled your eyes "I know" you smirked which made Alex laugh hard.
"Get ready, love" she smiled as she squeezed your arm.
"Alex?" you called out as you were brushing your teeth.
"Yeah?" Alex's head swung towards you as she was now focused on you rather than the clothes on the bed.
"You haven't seen my skirt, have you?" you said with a mouthful of toothpaste.
Alex chuckled slightly "I have not" she nodded to the wardrobe "check in there?"
"Doctor and a magician" you nodded jokingly.
"Just check" Alex laughed.
"Okay fine" you laughed too, looking now you could not see the skirt, so you went back to the bathroom to continue to freshen up "maybe it's in yours Lex I wouldn't be mad-" you turned around by Alex cutting you off.
"It's right here babe, did you really not see it?" Alex pulled out your skirt "Are you sure you're okay?" she worried.
"Yeah I'm-" a sudden wave of nausea hit you and you and Alex made the way to the toilet, Alex rubbed your back with one hand and was already on the phone with Olivia with the other.
"Alright, let's get you back into bed" Alex swiped your hair that was stuck on your forehead behind your ears, resting her hand on your cheek, as she checked once over to see just how unwell you were, you leaned on her hand smiling slightly.
"I love you Lex" you smiled gently.
"I love you too honey"
"I would love you even more than I already do if you kissed me?" you offered with a grin, knowing Alex could never turn down that smile.
Alex sighed and then nodded smiling as she couldn't resist.
"I'm so grateful for you" you hugged her waist as you looked up at her.
"I'm so grateful for you" Alex smiled, "can you sit here for a second baby?" Alex smiled as she sat you on the bed, you nodded and smiled as she pulled out some fresh pajamas for you, after you finished changing she led you to the bed with a gentle arm around your waist, with the other hand she opened up the bed covers.
Alex kissed your head as she tucked you in "Call me if you need anything, anything okay?"
"Okay, I love you" you mumbled as your eyes started to become heavy.
Alex chuckled lightly "I love you too"
A couple of hours later you woke up to knocking on the door, you looked around and got up, shivering as you walked down the hallway you started to call out to the door "Alex you're early is everything okay?" she didn't answer so you called for her again, this time louder "Alex?" you swung the door open to find your boss, Olivia Benson, standing outside the door with a bowl of soup in her hands with flowers and a card outside the door.
"Hi Liv, sorry I thought you were Alex! Is everything okay? the apartment's a mess and I-"
"Take it easy sweetheart" Olivia chuckled "Alex wanted me to check up on you, she called this morning but I wanted to come down here, bring you something" Olivia smiled while handing over the bowl of soup "and don't worry about the apartment either, I've seen worse" she joked which made you less tense.
"Do you want to come in? it's freezing" you offered.
"Sure" Olivia smiled as she shrugged off her coat, wearing a thick jumper and a scarf "thanks" she smiled.
"Not a problem" you nodded slowly as you saw fully what she was wearing compared to you.
"Olivia aren't you hot? Sorry but it's really cold in here?" you started shivering.
"No Y/N it's really hot in here, Alex said your temperature was 97° this morning, can I check what it's at now?"
"Um yeah go ahead?" you questioned.
"Shit, 105" Olivia stood up and started rummaging through her bag for her phone,
"Alex meet us at the hospital"
"Liv" you started to stand up "what's going on?" "LIV" you shouted before you panicked, your vision started to become dizzy and you fainted.

You woke up a few hours later with Alex and Olivia by your side "Oh thank Godness she's awake, hi baby" Alex smiled as she stroked your hair and kissed your forehead.
"Hi honey" you smiled back up at her, grabbing on to her bicep for some strength.
"How did I get here? the last thing I remember was when Olivia came over to the apartment and we were talking" you started to panic but your girlfriend shushed you and calmed you down.
"I drove you" Olivia's voice came from the other side of the room.
"Thank you, you know for getting me here" you smiled slightly, not even much energy.
"No problem" she smiled gently at you "I'll leave you two alone now" Olivia nodded as she made her way out.
"I told you to call me if something happened" Alex sighed as she sat down in the chair next to you.
"It all happened so fast Lex, Olivia woke me up by knocking on the door, I start shivering because I think it's freezing and Olivia comes in with a thick jumper and a scarf and then all of a sudden I'm on the floor" you sighed reaching your hands out to Alex's for her to take.
She nodded, silently telling you she believes you.
"What time is it?" you asked curiously.
Alex looked down at her watch before looking up at you again "about noon" Alex let go of your hands to tucked your hair behind your eyes.
You nodded slowly "are you really gonna sit in that awkward and uncomfortable chair all this time or are you going to get in here and hug your girlfriend who is in the hospital and deserves special treatment" you pouted jokingly.
Alex laughed before making her way around the bed to curl up behind you "What special treatment are you thinking?" she asked rubbing her finger up and down your arm.
"Woah now Cabot" you turned around to face her "let's not get ahead of ourselves" you laughed "I was thinking more kisses and Chinese food" you smiled.
Alex smiled and nodded while swiping her tongue across her bottom lip "Okay" she smiled kissing your forehead, then your cheeks making you squeal and giggle, she then pressed a small kiss to your lips.
"Thank you" you smiled as you turned around again, pulling her arm over your waist as you fell asleep by Alex playing with your hair.
"Love you" you murmured groggily in your sleep making Alex chuckle.
"I love you too sweetheart, go to sleep baby it's okay, I'll be here when you wake up" Alex stamped a kiss in the back of your head making you entirely fall asleep.
