Today was the day that Brendon and I were going to pick out our wedding cake. Since we will be getting married in less than 6 months, we figured it will be a good idea to get the cake now rather than later so we aren't stressing about it then. "I'm so excited." I said as I latched onto Brendon's arm. "I am too doll. We get to eat cake today so why shouldn't I be excited. Well, that and we're picking out our wedding cake." "I still can't believe that we're getting married. It seems so surreal, doesn't it?" "It really does, but I know I made the right choice when I asked you to marry me." "Awww Brendon." "Awww Heather." I giggled as he kissed my nose. We walked into the bake shop and started looking at cakes.

CLAIRE'S POINT OF VIEW

"I'm done Spencer I can't take it anymore!" I said as I ran outside of the house to my car. Spencer followed me out to my car still screaming words that I couldn't make out. I ignored him, and put my keys in the ignition and drove to Heather's house.

Once I got to Heather's place I knocked on the door faintly. No one answered so I tried to call Heather's cell phone. I dialed her number, and after a couple of rings she answered "Hello?". Heather when are you going to be home?" I said sniffling. "We're on our way home now. Why, what's wrong Claire? Are you okay?" She sounded worried so I told her that Spencer and I broke up. "We'll be home shortly. Just sit on the porch until we get home okay Claire?" I said yes and then we hung up.

BRENDON'S POINT OF VIEW

Heather got off the phone with Claire and I asked her what happened. "Spencer and Claire broke up." She replied. "When we get home want to take her to dinner or something?" I asked. "Yeah, I think that would be good for her to get out and try not to think of Spencer." I held Heather's hand and rubbed her knuckles with my thumb reassuring her everything was going to be okay. She looked up at me with a sweet smile that made me smile back at her.

We got back home and Claire was on our porch steps crying. Heather went up to her and hugged her tightly. Claire cried into Heather's shoulder. "Let's go inside and you can tell me what happened, okay?" Heather said to Claire as she rubbed her back. Claire looked back at Heather and shook her head yes. Once we got inside I made the girls tea, and Heather sat down on the couch with Claire as she explained everything that happened.

HEATHER'S POINT OF VIEW

"Okay, Claire tell me what happened." I said as I rubbed her back. Brendon came into the living room with tea. He handed Claire a cup of tea and she sipped it before telling us why they broke up. Claire took a deep breath and began to explain. "Spencer and I have been fighting for a few months now, and today it just got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore. I told him I couldn't take the constant fighting anymore so I got in my car and drove here." She began to cry again, and I held her as she cried. I held her until she stopped crying, and when she did stop she looked at me and said, "Thank you for letting me vent to you. I love you Heather.""I love you too Claire. Anytime you're sad, mad, or just want to talk I will always be here for you." I hugged her once more, and she told me she felt better. "Do you want to go out for dinner tonight?" I asked her. She shook her head yes. We all got into Brendon's car and he drove us to The Blue Dolphin for dinner.
