Ship: Gunil x Jooyeon

"She cancelled?" He asked over the phone. Gunil was mad, Jooyeon had built up so much courage to ask the girl he liked. Only for her to cancel.

But actually, Jooyeon had never asked out a girl. He actually liked the elder. Like, a lot.

So, instead of full on asking him out, he made up this crazy plan with Jiseok, his best friend.

Gunil had a soft spot for the younger boy. All Jooyeon needed to say was his own name, and he'd be over to help in seconds.

"I'll come instead!" Jooyeon smiled, he was already at the fair. Which was where he was going to go on a date with the girl. The non-existent girl.

Gunil hung up and after a couple of minutes, he ran towards the younger boy.

Over the minutes that he had waited for the older boy he made himself fake cry. So that Gunil would believe him a bit more. Was it desperate? Definitely, but if it meant hanging out with Gunil then he didn't care.

Gunil immediately looked concerned after seeing a couple of tears on Jooyeon's face. "Oh, I didn't know you were that sad" He didn't know what to do. He awkwardly hugged the younger boy, hoping it would make him feel better.

"Well, I'm here now, clearly a downgrade, but it's better than nothing right?" He smiled at the younger boy. The made up girl would be a downgrade in Jooyeon's mind. But that was probably just because he lacked heterosexuality.

"I wouldn't call you a downgrade!" Jooyeon smiled back, a light blush covered Gunil's face because of the compliment. He didn't believe what Jooyeon had said.

The two boys started walking around, hand in hand. They looked around the stalls.

"Hyung!" Jooyeon stopped at a stall. He jumped around a bit. "Can you get me that!" He pointed to a wolf plushie. Gunil rolled his eyes playfully while laughing. He found the younger boy's cuteness irresistible. So, he eventually gave in and paid.

"You better not lose!" Jooyeon was acting like a little boy, but Gunil let it slide as he was having a rather shitty day earlier.

"Don't worry, I'm a professional" Jooyeon found the elder extremely attractive while playing a stupid carnival game.

"What did I tell you!" Gunil handed him the plushie Jooyeon wanted. The latter roller his eyes in a playful manner.

"That was your sixth try!" Jooyeon really liked the fact that Gunil hadn't stopped trying until he won. He knew it was just a platonic gesture, but part of him wanted to think otherwise.

"Hyung... What do you think of homosexual people?" Jooyeon suddenly asked, the answer might make him sad, but he didn't care.

"Well, I dunno, they exist, I'm kinda questioning myself currently but I'm not sure I'm one" Gunil shrugged. Jooyeon's eyes widened after hearing that the boy was possibly gay. He had to keep a poker face though, so he simply nodded.

"Why?" That was the question he dreaded, he took a deep breath and looked around. Jooyeon grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the middle of the fair. If he was gonna come out, he didn't want to do it in front of a good portion of the town.

"The girl she's made up" The younger boy quickly said, Gunil furrowed his eyebrows. He didn't understand what Jooyeon meant.

"I- I just wanted an excuse to hang out with you" The taller boy buried his head in Gunil's shoulder. He didn't understand why Jooyeon was acting like that, but he still patted the boys back.

"I'm in love with you" He started crying, he didn't want anything to change between him and Gunil. He liked the way they were, and he didn't want anything different. Jooyeon was pretty sure that Gunil would never want to talk to him again.

"Me..? C'mon! If you're gonna be gay then fall in love with an attractive guy!" Gunil's tone at first scared Jooyeon, but the latter was reassured after hearing him laugh while saying the second part.

Jooyeon removed his head from Gunil and looked at the elder, then at the floor. Gunil held out his hand, so that Jooyeon could hold it.

"Jooyeon.. can you kiss me?" Gunil lifted up the younger boy's head. He didn't understand why the elder would ask him something like that.

"Why?"

"I'm bi curious, maybe this'll help me figure things out"

So, with that, Jooyeon quickly leaned in and planted a peck on the elder's lips.

For Jooyeon, this was the highlight of the year, or probably of his life. Even if Gunil found out that he was straight, he still kissed the boy once in his life.
