So this is a true story about my Therian crush, Blue, and me. Also a really shitty looking drawing of myself 😭
Scouts(Me) Pov: During some school event I was drawing and I drew the Therian logo, with our even thinking. Blue, before I found out that they were a Therian, commented on it. I got really upset and just tried to ignore it. But that wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, what Blue said to me was on loop until we got put in the same group. I really did try to make my presence unknown, but that didn't work. 'Is that the furry logo? Are you a furry?' The same two sentences pissed me off but there was nothing I could really do but sulk.
"I wasn't trying to be rude, I was just annoyed that you and Shelle weren't paying attention." Chloe randomly said as we were alone in the hallway.
Honestly I couldn't say anything, I was surprised that Blue even said anything to me. I made sure that they knew I still wasn't happy. Before I went back to what I was doing I glared at them. Liz said something so I shifted my attention to her. We continued with our project.
The next day ( I can't actually remember if this was the next day or not 😭) at recess I was swinging on the swings with my friend Shelle. She looked at Blue and left, as she walked away Blue sat down next to me. I know what that logo was, I'm also a quadrobics, I was just pretending that that was the furry logo because I was scared. I thought you were a fake."
I looked at them stunned, "What?" It was the only thing I could mutter. My heart began to pound in my chest.
They looked at me, "Ya, a quadrobist, a Therian, I'm one too."
I was silent for a minute or two so I could process. "Oh, heh, thought I was the only one." I smiled at them and they smiled back.
We started talking about gear, quads, etc.. Shelle came back and we both fell silent for the fear she would judge (even though I explained to her already at the event). She got mad that we would tell her what we were talking about and she walked away. A sigh of relief escaped from me.
"Hey, how about I invite you over this weekend?" Chloe said tilting their head slightly.
"Ya! Sounds good." I smiled and continued swinging until we had to go back to class.
