A/N: kinda short, also sorry for the mark slander

"Can you believe it, she asked Mark to the dance." Ningning flops down onto her fluffy pink bed in a huff.

Giselle, who's sitting on a chair, stares at her blankly. It wasn't the first time Giselle had listened to Ningning's girl problems. "I mean Mark, the guy barely has a personality and his only good quality is that he can speak English."

Ningning throws a tantrum because Koeun, the girl she has a crush on, asked out Mark instead of her. "I've known her longer than Mark has, and yet she asked him. Can my life get any worse?" The girl cries into her pillow.

Ningning was now a grown-up 18-year-old with very little maturity. Still acts as if she was 16. It's been a whole three years since she's made that deal with Giselle and she couldn't have asked for a better best friend.

Over the years many things have changed, like her older brother marrying the love of his life, and the war between Ningning's family and their enemies resolving and making a peace treaty.

Karina and Winter became official. Giselle almost kissed her on her 18th birthday. So much has changed yet she keeps thinking of that night. It happened so fast for Ningning. She was in bed after a crazy night on her birthday and was in the process of falling asleep.

Then the last thing she saw was Giselle's pretty lips coming towards her, then she fell asleep. After that day Ningning had become slightly awkward with Giselle. But nothing out of the ordinary.

"I don't understand why you can't go with someone else," Giselle says. Ningning sits up and pouts at the demoness while holding a pillow.
"Because she's the girl I want to go with I've been planning this since freshman year." She can remember her first day of freshman year when she met Koeun, the sky was clear, the air was fresh, and the fall leaves fell from the trees. It was a perfect day in Ningning's opinion, and when she saw Koeun standing there under the tree it was as if she saw an angel.
Giselle knows all of this yet she still doesn't get why Ningning is obsessed with Koeun.

"Ningning if she didn't ask you then she's not worth it. Go with someone else." Ningning laid down again as she thought of who. Her crush was Koeun, and the only other girls she knew were WInter, Giselle, and Karina.

Which was definitely out of the question.

"Maybe I'll not go at all, yea who needs to go to prom anyway." Maybe she could just relax at home and binge her favorite kid's show which only Giselle knew she liked. Ningning was crazy if she thought Giselle was going to let her do that. For the past 7 months since Ningning started senior, she's been talking nonstop about this dance.

"No, you're going to that dance," Giselle stood up and leaned over Ningning grabbing her shoulders. "because you have been annoying me about it so I've decided," ningning got scared for a moment,  "I'm gonna go to your school and help get a date." It was kind of hot of Giselle to take the lead and be so firm, Ningning thought.

Well, tomorrow will definitely be eventful.

                      📚📚📚

The next morning Ningning decided to meet Giselle at school since her mother would definitely notice if she left home with her. Three years in the Ning household and yet they still havent noticed her.

She saw Giselle standing at the entrance with a black backpack hanging off her right shoulder, Ningning felt ticklish in the stomach seeing the demon there with the same school uniform as her.

She got off the bus and approached Giselle. "After 3 years you're finally here." She could vaguely remember the demon saying something about hormonal teenagers being annoying.
"Well I'm not happy about it, imagine having to learn." Ningning rolled her eyes and the two started heading inside. Since Ningning was a senior with semi-good grades she only had four classes this school year, which meant free period, it was her haven. The time of the day she gets to be by herself and relax from all the drama at her school.

As they walk down the hallway people turn their gaze at Giselle since they have never seen anyone like her before. In Ningning's opinion, all the students at her school were mid, except for Koeun of course.
Giselle on the other hand couldn't care less if people stared at her. She just came here to support Ningning. They stopped at Ningning's locker as the younger was getting some things out of the locker and into her backpack.

"So I have History first and then English which I'm not really good at so I might-." Suddenly a voice interrupts.

"Hi, Ningning." It was Koeun with a taller male at her side, it was Mark. Ningning slightly jumped at her smooth voice and smiled awkwardly.

"Omg heyyy Koeun," she looks at Mark. "...and mark." Who only gave a brief nod. Giselle observed the girl had brown long hair which reached her back. that's all the girl had going for her, she was average-looking, thought Giselle. (A/N: I am so sorry Koeun😭your beautiful)

Mark looked like he had two brain cells in his head working. The boy looked so stupid. Giselle wasn't trying to be mean but the boy had been spacing out the second Koeun started talking.

"So did you find a date to the dance?" Ningning shook her head and lowered her head in shame. "Well since you've already bought the tickets, I think my cousin will be happy to take them off your hands." Giselle couldn't believe the audacity of this girl.

"Actually, she does have a date." Ningning looked at her in surprise. "I do?" Ningning questioned. "Yea me, I'm her date." Ningning was flabbergasted. She did think of Giselle but ultimately decided against it, afraid that the girl would laugh in her face.

"She asked me before but I declined, now I changed my mind." Giselle smiled at the two, making Koeun blush a little. Mark only stared and looked away which made Giselle arch a brow.

"Well never mind about giving up those tickets then." She says to Ningning. Then looked at Giselle. "Anyway see you Ningning, you too..."

"Giselle."

She nodded and walked away with Mark behind her.

"Sigh wow that was tense, and when did you agree to be my date to the dance?" Giselle smirked.

"Since that girl dared to ask for the tickets you spent two months working hard for." Ningning was surprised at her words. She'd never heard Giselle stand up for her before.

"Also why is she bringing the boy, Mark was it? He's gay." Ningning looked at her confused. "What Marks not gay."

"He obviously is gay trust me my gaydar is never wrong." Ningning started thinking but chose to ignore it.

"Anyway my first class is about to start, see you later." Ningning waved goodbye to Giselle and walked to her class.

Giselle had something up her sleeve as usual, she needed to get rid of Mark from Koeun, and since the boy looked easily swayed she had to call a friend of hers to help.
Someone who was an expert in seducing men into whatever they wanted.

Someone who happened to be the Demon of Lust.
