As the night settled in, Ragini dutifully fed Karan his dinner and ensured he took his medication. Once he drifted off to sleep, she left the room briefly to have dinner as Arjun accompanied her. After their meal, Arjun bid her goodnight and departed.

Returning to Karan's hospital room, she settled herself comfortably on the nearby sofa. As she lay there, the events of their wedding day flooded her mind.

Ragini sat in front of the mirror, adorned in her red wedding lengha, her reflection staring back at her. The weight of the moment bore down on her, filling her with a mix of emotions.
