Chapter - 2

As Jimin's new family members crossed the threshold into his home, his heart fluttered with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. Clinging to his father's side like a shy little shadow, he watched with wide eyes as his new family gathered in the living room.

His new mother, with kindness shining in her eyes, approached him gently, her voice a soothing melody as she spoke to him, filling the air with a motherly warmth that enveloped Jimin like a comforting embrace.

Yet, despite her gentle efforts, Jimin remained hesitant, his small frame trembling with shyness as he struggled a little to find his voice in the presence of these new faces.

Mrs. Kim: Hello jiminie!

Jimin: H-Hi Mrs. kim (bowed)

Mrs. Kim: I heard about you from your dad a lot. And I'm glad seeing you in person tonight

Jimin: Reilly??

Mrs. Kim : Yes really! Here I bought something for you

She took out a chocolate 🍫 from her hand bag and waited for jimin to take it

Jimin: For me??

Mrs. Kim: Yes for you!

Jimin: (looked at his father who gave him a nod and took the chocolate from her hand) Thank you Mrs. Kim

Mrs. Kim: Son call me mom if you are comfortable enough, okay?

Jimin: Okay... Mom

Mrs. Kim: (smile) Boys introduce yourself!

As his stepbrothers introduced themselves, Jimin couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at the lukewarm reception from some. Yoongi and Taehyung's forced greetings weighed heavily on his heart, but he resolved to hide his disappointment behind a brave smile, determined not to let it dampen his spirits.

But amidst the uncertainty, there were rays of sunshine. Jin, Namjoon, Hobi, and Jungkook approached him with warmth and kindness, their smiles brightening Jimin's world and easing the knot of nervousness in his stomach.

Mr. Park: Jimin you too introduce yourself!

Jimin: Hello I am Park Jimin and I am 10 years old (bowed)

When it was Jimin's turn to introduce himself, he did so with a heartwarming charm that melted even the coldest of hearts. His stepbrothers couldn't help but feel their defenses crumble as they watched Jimin's innocence and sincerity shine through.

As the evening progressed and they all gathered around the dining table, a heavy silence hung in the air, punctuated only by the clinking of silverware against plates. But just as tension threatened to suffocate the room, Jimin's father and new mother shared a heartfelt announcement that pierced through the quietude.

They wanted to get married.

The news sent shockwaves through the room, stirring a whirlwind of emotions among the gathered family members. But amidst the chaos, it was Jimin who was very happy but the happiness soon turned into sadness, his eyes wide with fear as he shrank back, seeking refuge.

Yoongi: What the fu*k mom?? What are you saying??

Taehyung : Yes mom what is this?? You told us today morning that you have a boyfriend and now the same day you are telling me that you wanna marry him

Yoongi and Taehyung's anger erupted like a tempest, their voices rising in protest as they lashed out against the sudden upheaval. But their fury faltered when they saw Jimin's tear-stained cheeks and trembling form, their hearts softening at the sight of his vulnerability.

Jin: Yoongi! Taehyung! Don't you dare raise your voice at mom!

Taehyung: Hyun-

Jin: Kim Taehyung don't make me repeat myself

It was Jin, the eldest and wisest among them, who stepped forward, his voice a calm anchor amidst the storm. With gentle words and a reassuring touch, he quelled the rising tide of conflict, guiding his brothers back from the brink and soothed Jimin's fears

As the moon approached everything seemed to be calm. Jimin was in the kitchen spending time with his Ajhuma as he was still a little scared of the boys who were in the living room with everyone. Jimin's dad offered Mrs. Kim and the boys to stay here for the night which was gladly accepted by Mrs. Kim. Sure yoongi and Taehyung didn't wanted to but if they refused then the consequences could be bad.

Mrs. Kim: Honey! Where is jimin?

Mr. Park: He must be in the kitchen if he is not here

Jin: Why is he in the kitchen?

Mr. Park: He must be spending time with Mrs. Choi who is also the head maid and some other workers she takes care of him like his own son. She was always there for him. And I don't want to make you feel guilty or anything but I suppose he got scared after he heard you guys shouting.

Namjoon : I'm sorry Mr. Park, I'll make sure that they don't shout around jimin again

Mr. Park: It's okay son you don't need to apologize.

Mrs. Kim: Hobi, Jin go and call jimin here. You guys are going to be his brothers so you must make him feel comfortable with you.

Jin: Yes mom!

They both got up and started walking. As they reached towards the kitchen they heard loud laughing and giggles so they stopped

Jimin: Ajhuma hyung is cute

???: See he is the only one who can understand me

???2: That's because he is a baby

???: And babies always say the truth

Jimin: binnie hyung I always say the truth but I'm not a baby (pout)

???: Yes soobin hyung he is not a baby he is an adult trapped in a baby's body.

Jimin: hyunggg

???: Soobin Taehyun don't you dare tease my prince. Don't listen to them baby I know you're a big boy now

Jimin: Yes Ajhuma

Taehyun: Mrs. Choi you always take his side

Soobin: Yes you always do that

Jimin: That's because she is my Ajhuma and I am her favorite

Mrs. Choi : Yes you are my favorite.

Soobin : Yeah yeah, but Minnie why are you here??

Taehyun: Yes you've got a mom and brothers now why don't you spend time with them?

Jimin: But Minnie scared! (Looked down)

Unknowing hobi felt sad, but wasn't he supposed to not like his now new little brother? Wasn't he supposed to hate him for coming in his family. On the other hand Jin made a note in his mind to scold yoongi and Taehyung harshly for shouting in front of jimin because he knew that his heart already accepted the cute little creature as his brother.

Soobin: Aigoo Minnie don't worry they won't hurt you

Taehyun: And if they do then tell me. Hyungie will beat them like this

He made some fighting gestures with a funny face making every one laugh especially jimin. But they all stopped laughing when they heard some one knocking on the entrance

Jimin: Jin, Hobi!

What will happen now?? Will Jin and hobi be angry on Jimin? Or will they tell the others about it??
