Date Night (AG/SR)

A/N: This is based in season 1 meaning its way before the main story of the plot of Second Chances (this story starts in season 8) so this is way before they break and stuff. ALSO this will be three seperate povs so you get both perspectives at the beginning and then when he arrives you just get third person pov. Another thing is that obviously Spencer is a massive germophobe in season 1 so no affection will be shown that is physical.

Anastasia's POV:

I am bored out of my mind.

Spencer was supposed to be at my place over an hour ago but he texted me saying he was 'pre-occupied' with some extra work Hotch gave him. 'Damn him.'

I am sitting on my couch, debating just putting a movie on rather than waiting for him since it's already late and I have no idea when he'll be done.

I definitely appreciate that he has to work but heck, we've had this date night planned for three weeks thanks to his overthinking adorable yet scary mind. 

Sitting alone on my couch was definitely how i pictured tonight to go but he'll be here soon and if he's not i am going to kick his pretty butt. Or not. We will see how long it takes him to show up. 

Lucky for Spencer, there is a knock at my door and i open it to see my very pretty yet extremely scruffy boyfriend with an assortment of flowers. 

Meanwhile, Spencer's POV:

I was working late at the office or at least that's what i told Anastasia. I wanted to surprise her tonight so here i am, looking at the different flowers at the flower shop and trying to pick which ones would fit her home and personality better. 

I was there so long it started getting dark but i managed to get a beautiful assortment of flowers. I finally managed to pick a cute assortment which took way too long (pic at the end). 

Now i was heading to her apartment, grinning like an idiot since our date night tonight was supposed to include an educational movie and ice cream. Well we're watching the big bang theory but only because Ani thinks its funny when i comment on it, i simply don't find it funny but she does so i'll have to suck it up for now. 

Soon i arrive at her apartment and knock, hoping she isn't too mad that i lied (not that she knows about his little lie). 

I smile and give her the flowers when she opens the door, the goofiest chuckle leaving her lips as she takes them and thanks me before inviting me in. 

This is about to be the best date night ever.

Third person:

The two make their way to the kitchen, chatting, while Anastasia puts the flowers in a cute little vase. 

Anastasia hands Spencer the ice cream while talking about a meme that Derek sent her, which Spencer doesn't understand so she has to explain. 

Anastasia has her cookie dough ice cream while Spencer has vanilla, scolding her and telling her she might get salmonella which makes her cackle. She loves Spencer and his concern, she thinks it's cute. 

The two do sit on the couch, eating their ice cream and pulling their respective blankets over themselves. Anastasia turns The Big Bang Theory on, sitting back and starting to munch on her ice cream. 

The couple has a great night, watching the show, stuffing their faces with ice cream, Anastasia teasing him and of course the ultimate explinations of jokes.
