Intro: Welcome to the story called Reality Break. This story is about a boy who questions the world and what it is becoming. He thinks every day about what life is and he thinks about what can he do to change it. The world is filled with questions and nobody is stepping up and answering it. This reality questions him and he wants to leave for a true reality.

I don't think it matters anymore. Have you ever asked yourself "What is life really about?" I'll tell you what life is, Cruel and boring. Every day we are in this cycle of suffering and thinking what life really is when you could go out and see what it is. I doubt you could go out and find it though. It seems as if the excitement of life just disappeared and we are just mindlessly sitting here wondering "Can life really get better?" I don't even know. What I'm asking for is justice fair and will life get better?

What do you think Aj?

Auntie Jasmine takes off her glasses. "Hmm, it looks like you need to liven up. She said. "Owen, you are a 16-year-old boy whose life is just getting started. You need to stop focusing on "cycles" and focus more on your life. Your social life that is. But still, are you okay Owen?" she said. Owen gets up looks at her and smiles. "You know you are a horrible therapist Aj" Auntie Jasmine smiles back. "That's because I am not a therapist at all. I'm a veterinarian. You of all people should know this Owen. How's school?"

Owen sighs and lies down." it's okay you know, nothing too crazy" Auntie Jasmine gets up and puts her glasses on. "Oh really, So did you get a girlfriend yet? If so, I want to meet her. Auntie Jasmine grinned. Owens facepalms himself. "No, I didn't and if so I wouldn't tell you about it. You would embarrass me in front of her. Auntie Jasmine leans to Owen. "You're absolutely correct." Auntie gets up and grabs her phone."Are you hungry? I'm going to call a pizza place." Owen gets up fast. "Can you add my favorite soda? Auntie Jasmine looks over. "Is it the blue one?" Owen says "You're absolutely correct." Auntie Jasmine sighs and says. "I'll call them right now." "Great" Owen smiled.

October 11, 2021. Everything will change... for the worst.

Owen wakes up from his sleep. "A brand new day, great blue sky, birds making me annoyed already, that one dog who never stops barking and lastly, it's my birthday. Aunt Jasmine yells."Owen wake up and come downstairs!" Owen yells. "Okay!" Owen rushes downstairs and smells something. "Waffles?" Owen asked. "Birthday waffles," Auntie Jasmine said with a big smile on her face.

"And it's even blueberry the best kind of waffles," Owen said. Auntie Jasmine walked over to Owen and rubbed his head." you are welcome Owen now after you eat get ready for school."

Owen eats the waffles halfway and says."These waffles are good it's just it's missing something or rather missing someone. Owen puts the fork down slowly. Aunt Jasmine hugs him and cheers him up.

"Owen, she doesn't want you to be sad on your birthday if anything, she would want you to enjoy it now c'mon get ready for school." Owen hugs Auntie Jasmine is back. "Okay," Owen said.

Auntie Jasmine walks to the front door and says. "I'll be waiting in the car and make sure you brush your teeth your crush wouldn't want your breath to smell horrible." Owen looked at her and said. "ha ha real funny." Auntie Jasmine opened the door and said. "The only thing that's funny is you don't have a relationship with a girl." She laughed and closed the door. Owen shouted. "Your jokes are horrible!"

Owen goes upstairs and does his morning routine. Owen grabs his clothes for school and puts them on. "Now where is my backpack?." He asked. "Owen remembered." Oh! It's on the couch." He goes downstairs and grabs his backpack. "Wait! One more thing," he said. Owen goes to the nearest mirror and sees himself. "Happy birthday to me and you are looking fabulous." He smiled.
