Chapter 1

Hailey's P.O.V
It was the first day of the new semester and I was finally going to be able to start my fashion apprenticeship at Top Shop! So far, I had picked out a super cute outfit and figured out how to style my nest. ( hair ) I'd picked out a black lace bra let and a plain white t-shirt to go on top, with black jeans with rips and tears on the both knees. Along with black slip-ones from Brandy Melville. Cuuuuuttteeee.
As I got out of my car, a jet black Range Rover, I noticed my best friend since kindergarten waving frantically at me from across the parking lot. I couldn't help but smile at this small gesture, I somehow missed her even though I was with her just yesterday.
'Hey Soph, great day huh?!' I asked.
'Yeah, a perfect way to start the semester... oh yeah did you hear there's a new boy starting?'
'Oh really, let the s-s** swoon over him then'
'That's right I almost forgot about them, urghh for once I wished they'd just leave the new guy alone!!!'
Out of the blue some guy with emerald green eyes, brown hair and a figure resembling Cameron Dallas, came walking towards me looking rather lost, I'd say.
'Hey, I'm kinda lost as you see today's my first day here actually I'm new to the country as well as you can tell by my accent,' he half heartedly laughed.
'Oh hey, I'm Hailey and this is my best friend, Sophie. Can I see your timetable?'
'Sure, it's here,'
I scanned his timetable, it was completely identical to mine. 'Oh boy!' I thought to myself, trying to hide the smirk that I felt was starting to surface. I mean I wasn't complaining as he was pretty cute, OMG ew did I just call him cute! EEWWW!
I think I dazed out for a few minutes as Sophie nudged me.
'Um, your classes are the exact same as mine so you can just stick with me for today, if that's okay with you?'
'Yeah, it's fine. I think I need a friend after all I don't really know anyone here.' He smiled with his pearl white teeth.
His smile was just ..... Wtaf was happening to me!!!!!!!
I walked towards the science block, new guy following,  remembering that I completely forgot to ask his name.
'Funny, I forgot to ask you your name, hahahmmm' I quietly giggled.
'My name's Jack, Jack Daniels.' He answered.
Just going to mention that he has probably one of the hottest voices I have ever heard in my life. It was deep, and very, very seductive. Everything a guy needed to sound like. ;)
'Jack Daniels...' I thought for a while after saying. 'Isn't that a beer company?' I almost laughed.
'Yeah, I get that a lot. Guess it's just a coincidence eh?'
More like a coincidence that I've been put with a guy who is wayyyy out of my league.
'Do you want me to show you to your locker before we go to our first class?'
'Yeah that'd be great thanks, it's number 236'
Wow. That's right next to my locker. Just my luck. I think this means something...
'That's so weird, that's right next to mine,'
'Weird? You don't want it to be next to yours?'
'No, no, no it's nothing like that. I like it actually, we get to see each other more.' I nervously reassured him.
'That's exactly what I was thinking. I hope I'm not too much trouble for you.'
'Your not!' I shouted.
'I mean your not,' I felt myself turning red. Shit.
He just smiled. That adorable smile.
I walked him to his locker; turning to go to open locker. I quickly took out my science books and binder in my bag. I turned to the side seeing a very confused Jack.
'Here let me help,'
I pulled my arm forward to help him open his locker when our hands touched. It was like electricity passed through my body. We just stood there staring into each other's eyes.
'I... um there's a knack to it,' immediately turning bright pink. 'You need to flip the lock over then pull'
He was still staring at me.
'Um, thanks,'
We both just stood there staring at each other.
'We should get going class starts in 2 minutes,'
'Right,' he swiftly put his things into his locker and then turned to me, waiting for me to lead the way.
Jack's P.O.V
She was beautiful. Just beautiful.
'So why did you move from England to here?' She asked so innocently.
'My father works here now, he works for his own company and was opening a branch here.'
'Oh that's cool,'
We finally arrived at our class. It was bigger than I expected, it was a modern science lab with a huge glass window stretched on the whole back wall. I walked up to the teacher explaining to her that I was new.
'Ok guys, we have a new student today. If you'd like to introduce yourself?...' She announced.
'My name is Jack Daniels and I've actually just moved to the country from England as my dad opened his new branch here. Yeah before you ask my name is the same as a beer company,' I laughed before turning my attention to Hailey. She noticed me and quickly turned pink. She was so cute.
'Well it's nice to meet you Jack, you can take a seat in a spot that is free,'
I looked around and noticed the seat next to Hailey was free so I decided to make my way towards her.
'Do you think I could sit here? Or are you sick of seeing my face?'
'It's fine haha, you can sit here'
'Thanks, so do you think I'm going to fall asleep in this class or am I actually going to learn something,'
'Well, if I was you I'd put ear phones on right now because she's probably just going to hand out the textbooks like she always does on the first lesson,'
'Right, or I could just talk to you all lesson,'
'I'd like that too.'
I swear if all American girls were like her, wow. Then this was the best decision of my life.
Hailey's P.O.V
'So how's new boy?' Sophie chimed.
'He's great. I mean I just hope the s-s** stay away from him,'
'He's different, he's not like the others,' I muttered.
'Ooooooo does Hailey Adams have a crush on the new guy?'
I instantly turned a dark shade of red. 'No I don't, he's just doesn't deserve them using him like that.'
'Well I think you're a bit late, there they are the notorious slut squad seeking out their prey.'
Quickly shifting towards, where Sophie had pointed out, Regina George, Gretchen and Lexi, surrounding him. Batting their lashing, high pitched voices on, stupidity full on.
'They make me sick,'          'I can't watch this,'
As I made my way to the other side of the hallway, I heard someone calling my name.
'Hailey! Hailey, wait up!'
I turned around.
'Jack, what's up?'     'Why aren't you with Regina and the rest of them? You seem pretty happy around them.'
'I'd prefer to be with you to be honest, I mean they're just a bit,' he looked around looking for the right word. 'Hmm....'
'I get it, that's what they're known for. They always try and trick the new guy into doing everything and anything they want,'
'I could see that, they seemed a bit too friendly for my liking,' he chuckled.
'So where you off to now?' He questioned.
'Um, I'm just heading to the cafeteria to get some lunch, you can come with me if you want...'
'I don't really have anywhere else to be, so I guess it's off to the cafeteria!' He mimicked.
Jack's P.O.V
Come on Jack, super hot girl right in front of you. Don't mess this up.
'So do you have any plans for after school?'
'Eh, just the usual either shopping  or Netflix and chill...' She giggled.
'Right your that kinda person...'
'What do you mean I'm that kind of person?' She almost yelled.
'You know, I thought you were more of the type who'd be on the fun side,'
'What're you trying to say Jack?' She questioned.
'HAHAHHAHAHAHA, I was only playing with you,' I belted.
'That wasn't funny,'
'Ok ok I'm sorry, I guess I was just trying to dodge the fact that I wanted to hang out with you instead....' I pleaded.
'Oh.' She went silent, her face trying a lighter shade of pink.
'I guess it's not everyday that you meet a super hot girl, who I may add has the most beautiful smile I've ever seen...'   'Who has the exact same lessons as me, whose locker is directly next to mine,' I went on for a while, 'that has to mean something right?'
'I guess it does.' She smiled.
