The longest ride, once more

The Begining of the end

Sophia was sitting on the bed at the ranch where she and Luke were living together. Sophia was thinking what they were going to be doing about their wedding, seeing as they have't talked about it in months and have done nothing about it.

Luke suddenly walked in the room disrupting her thoughts when he sat down next to her.
"Where have you been?" Luke asked, a bit worriedly, "I've been looking for you for a while," he took a breath and told her, "I think we could maybe go back up to the cabins on Friday, what do you think?"
Ignoring what Luke had just said, Sophia looked up at him as she said, "What are we going to do, Luke?" When Luke stared at her trying to understand what she was talking about she continued, " what are we going to do about us getting married? We haven't discussed it at all and I'm scared that you don't really want to marry me anymore."
"Of course I still want to marry you I've just been so busy that I haven't been able to talk to you about it," when Sophia turned away Luke gently put his hand on her face and made her look at him "Sophia," he said with worry in his voice again, "You know that I still want to marry you, and you should already know how much I love you."
With Luke's words Sophia pulled her head up and gave Luke a light kiss.
"But that still doesn't explain if we are ever going to talk about it." Sophia said, then she took a big breath and looked at the floor.
