I looked at screen just as our professor started presenting. I looked at the topic and heard groans.
Student: "Again sir? Why are learning this over and over again? "
Professor : "Listen here kids. This is your last year in school. You must know how the system works... especially as you all are reaching the legal age of mating. "
I looked at him and raised my hand.
Professor : "Yes Y/n?"
Y/n : "We are normal humans... Mating is for the vampires. Why do we need to learn about mating? "
Professor : "Well...you see vampire can mate with humans as well. "
I looked at him confused
Y/n : "But what's the use? We will die before those immortal creatures. "
Professor : True but when a human mates with vampire - you know what I will explain this with the presentation. You will understand right after that. "
Everyone nodded and I looked at the screen as the slide changed.
I realized the hierarchy of clans on the slide
Professor : "Let's start with the basic. The clans and their position. Being in th Ed human clan is tough luck cause we have ranks. Other clans.. like the werewolf or the vampire clans don't have ranks. The fairies are varied on their abilities. And the mermaid do not interfere with the humans..... "
Professor : "so we don't know much about them. Us humans have the higher ranks and the lower ranks. Life is unfair if you fall in the lower rank.
I was sitting in a class full of lower ranks including mystery. But it still makes me feel insecure about my position in the world. Higher ranks had way more high tech classes and they have better facilities and opportunities unlike us.
Professor : "moving on," Professor : "The vampires and the werewolves have a concept called mating. It is not much. It's just that they have mates and they know it the moment their eyes set in their mate. They can smell their mate from meter away."
He changed the slide
Professor: "The last time a vampire had a human mate was 250 years ago.And it did not turn out well cause 4 people had the same mate.They fought over her and just ended up killing her and sucking all her blood ." He turned to us.
Professor: "it's funny how they are the most powerful and we are the weakest yet we get along the best .They can kill us easily but choose not to be on the good side with us."
Professor : "Their law states that they cannot feed on humans without government permission. " Student2: "So we are safe and can live alongside them? " Professor : "That's right "
Professor : "The only ones that can kill humans are human hunters. They need license to do so and need to be trained. They kill bad criminals of both the human and vampire clan. " Student 3:"The vampire can kill their own type?"
Professor : "Of course. Just like how we have murderers. But they help us by taking out the bad people."
I raised my hand again
Professor : "Your question?"
Y/n : " If vampires don't have our blood then what do they have?" Professor : "I was coming to that "
He changed the slides
Professor : "We conduct donation drives. Where we donate blood for them. "
He looked at the screen
Professor : "on a average, a vampire can survive without human blood for 3 weeks, without going crazy. Sons can even last 4 weeks. But more then that and they can become cannibals. "
Everyone shuddered at the thought of it. Professor : "A human hunter can kill a vampire in anyway except sucking their blood which removes them from the category of cannibals"
He changed the slide
Professor : "Coming back to mating. The legal age to mate with anyone is right after you leave this school, that is the age if 20.Mating before that will lead to a deadly punishment."
He then moved to another slide.

On the screen, I saw 6 beautiful men, but their teeth.......... They are vampires. My eyes were stuck on the screen.
Professor : "They are the most famous vampires.They are the sextuplet brothers and they have a human mate. "
Everyone stared at the screen in awa.
Professor : what's more shocking is that the mate of those 6 vampires......
He signed while pointing at the screen.
Professor : "They are one of you! "
