"I gave you all I had."
"And you tossed it in the trash."
"You tossed it in the trash."
"You did."

"To give me all your love."
"Is all I ever asked cause'."
"What'cha don't understand is:"

"I'd catch a Grenade for ya!"
"Throw my hand on a blade for ya!"
"I'd jump in front of a train for ya!"
"You know I'd do anything for ya!"
"I would go through all this pain."
"Take a bullet straight through my brain!"
"Yes I would die for ya baby."
"But you won't do the same!"

The amount of times I've listened to this song is insane. I guess it just states perfectly how I feel.

Maybe I should talk to Vels or something.

"Vels?" I called to my sister.

"What is it Ven?" She asked as she opened the door. "Do you wanna talk?"

I nod and she comes to sit down next to me.

"What about?" She asks as she wraps me in a hug.

"I dunno. Something." I mutter, returning the hug and burying my face in her shoulder.

"Why don't we talk about your feelings?" She suggests. Oh God help me.

"I'm not sure I want to." I whisper.

"Well you have to at some point." Velvet says dryly.

"I don't wanna cry again though. It doesn't feel good to." I protest.

"I get that." She said. "But it is good to."

I look up at her, my lip jutting out stupidly.

I sighed and spilled my guts out to her, she listened quietly and nodded a few times as I poured it all out.

"Yeah... I understand why you feel that way, but he isn't worth your time." Velvet said eventually.

I nod slightly. Before she continues. "Is there anything else you want to talk about?" I shake my head. "Why don't we do something else then, like sing a song?"

"Sure." I say.

"You can count on me like one, two, three..." She begins.

"I'll be there..." I continue.

"And I know when I need it..."

"I can count on you like four, three, two..."

"And you'll be there." We sing together. "Cause' that's what friends are sposed' to do, oh yeahhh..."

"Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, yeah, yeah..." I sing.

"If you're tossin' and you're turnin', and you just can't fall asleep..." Velvet sang.

"I'll sing a song, beside you..."

"And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me..."

"Every day I will..."

"Remind you." We sing harmoniously.

"Oh-oh. Find out what we're made of!" I sing the next line of the song we'd written.

"When we are called to help our friends in need."

"You can count. On. Me, like one, two, three, I'll be there." We sing together. "And I know when I need it, I can, count. On. You like four, three, two, and you'll be there. Cause that's what friends are sposed' to do, oh yeah..."
