"Good news, we got the weapons." Brett says over the phone, him standing in the lobby of the large Auction Center with Ethan and Max. "They are loading them in the car now and we will be on our way back."

"Good." Sam replies. "Where's my Princess?"

"She's right here." Brett hands the phone to Max.

"Hey daddy." Max smiles. "Did Nic talk to mom for you?"

"Yeah I'm finally free."

Max laughs. "Where's mom?"

"Putting your little sister to sleep. Actually she's right here." Sam puts the phone on speaker when Susan comes inside of the room. "Amore it's Max."

"Hey my girl." Susan takes the phone.

"Hey mom. Finally decided to give Dad a break?"

"Yeah well he deserved those uncomfortable weeks on the couch."

Sam sighs out while Max laughs. "I told you a million times over I was sorry."

"I know. I just wanted to see you suffer for a little bit." Susan smiles at him.

Sam rolls his eyes. "I'm going to shower."

"Susan we'll be back in some hours." Brett tells her. "Then me you Sasha and Mikayla can go to lunch together, like old times."

"That sounds nice."

"Love you mom. I'll talk to you later."

"Love you too, my girl."

Max hands the phone back to Brett. "Please don't tell Dad about this."

"Yeah like we said not looking to aid in his moodiness." Ethan replies. "Well he sounded better since he was out of the dog house but still."

"Just be careful, Max. A lot of men are looking at you in this outfit." Brett states.

"I can handle myself, Uncle."

Brett nods, him looking over Max's shoulder when Lucas begins to walk towards them. "Lucas."

Max turns around and looks at Lucas when he takes his place beside her. She can't lie, he looks deliciously handsome in the suit that was tailored just for him. Black suits him well, it is a color she sees he wears the most, given his Darkness name, Darkness is apart of him. His buttoned up shirt tucked into his trousers deliciously hugs his strong muscles to where they can be vividly seen, almost looking like his shirt is going to rip from his bulging frame. His hands being in his pockets of his trousers, and a nice silver tie clip on his black tie.
