… I woke up groaning, having the worst headache ever… Why does my head feel so fuzzy?
I was in an empty white place with the ground being somehow a shiny black, it felt like an endless void…
I slowly got up and walked around while carefully checking my surroundings, each step felt like stepping in a water puddle.
Eventually I found a weird person in the distance… Is it… me? but I can't see its face…
“Oh how WONDERFUL, looks who's here.” The person said in a funny way…
“Uhm… hi! Have we met before?” I kindly ask the person with an awkward smile.
“What? Can't recognize yourself now? That's DELIGHTFUL” the person turned around, but their face was… blurry.
“Myself…? Wait- what's up with the weird tone?” I ask the person, feeling REALLY uneasy.
“You even forgot about your own sarcasm? Pfft, Now THAT'S extremely embarrassing…” the person criticized me, which provoked me.
“Hey! You're the one that should feel embarrassed for-” I attempt to say but I'm immediately interrupted by the other person.
“Don't tell me you forgot about the whole drama you have with ■■■■■■■ for over YEARS now, or ■■■■■■■■ who absolutely HATES YOU for what you did, maybe even ■■■■■■■■, your friend…” The person shouted at me, making me hyperventilate as I was filled with panic…
“STOP IT! I can't understand anything you're saying!” I yell at the person, unable to calm down.
“You really want to stay ignorant? You are SO CLEVER! but there's no point.” the person told me as my body felt weaker and weaker…
“The ■■■■■■■■ was a mistake, being part of the ■■■■ was a mistake, EVERYTHING YOU DID WAS A MISTAKE AND YOU KNOW IT! You can't do ANYTHING RIGHT!! So why not give up on everything already?!” the person yells at me with their voice distorting more and more…
“YH- YOU'RE WRONG!-” I try to protest but immediately get interrupted. “YOU CAN'T PRETEND IT NEVER HAPPENED FOREVER!” the person yelled at me.
I simply got… silent. “Out of arguments? GOOD! I was getting tired of your pathetic words anyway.” the person said while annoyed by me, turning to the opposite view.
“N-NO! I-” I tried to interfere but I felt hands grabbing me to below, pushing me to a dark place, feeling unable to breathe like I was drowning. it was so cold…
I tried to call for help but it was no use, I was so desperate.
it hurts…
It hurts.
It Hurts.
IT HURTS-
“GAAH!!” I screamed and opened my eyes to reality. It was… just a dream.
Looking at my surroundings I realized I was inside an orange room while I was laying in a comfortable bed. I was having a hard time to know if that place was familiar or not, but at the very least I felt safe, and I think that's what matters…
I try to remember what happened before that dream, but… I couldn't remember anything at all, which bothered me a lot.
Suddenly I spotted a door nearby getting opened and I saw someone; They were a big white ball with red lines around their sides. something that caught my eye was their eyes, it looked like the person was… crying?
The person saw me and seemed to have gotten shocked and rushed to me in desperation. “NICKEL!!” the person says as they cuddle me with a sobby smile. “You got me so worried, I thought you were DEAD!”
…
Dead…?
“You talk kinda funny… say, have we met before?” I tell the person with a curious smile.
The person's smile seems to slowly fade away, “What…? Don't you remember me? It's me, Baseball!” the person told me in a worry.
“Sorry but I think you've mistaken me for someone else, I don't believe we met yet? My name is…” I took a moment before continuing, “... is Nickel!” I cheerfully introduced myself to the person who apparently was called ‘Baseball’.
“... Oh…” Baseball's smile completely drops… What happened…?
We stayed in an awkward silence, for some reason I could spot some tears escaping Baseball's eyes… that until he broke that same silence.
“I’ll… go for a moment, okay?” Baseball said to me as he got off to leave. “Ok…?” I say, still quite confused by everything.
He goes to the door and closes it, making me think…
Did I do something wrong…?
