57 : missing you

Jaeyun sighed, he waited for Hyejin but she didn't show up. It's almost one hour since her last miscalled. He was with Diane because she needs to see Jaeyun right at that moment.

He was flustered when he saw Diane crying like crazy because she don't like crying. The moment Diane hugged him and told him that her grandma passed away Jaeyun immediately understand her.

“I lost her, Jakey! I didn't got a chance to say goodbye to her! I... I'm...” her words stopped there meanwhile Jaeyun wiped her tears.

“Shhh, don't cry. Everything is going to be fine. You should calm yourself now and packing your things,” he patted her shoulder so she could calm down.

Diane feel safe around Jaeyun but she needs to leave now. After she calm down a little bit Diane widen their gap and look away. She saw someone familiar but she didn't confirm if it's true or not.

“I have to go now. Thanks, Jakey. For letting me lay on you shoulder. I guess you got something else to do after this?” she asked and Jaeyun softly nodded.

“My pleasure, Diane. Are you fine having a flight alone?” he asked just in case she needs some company but Diane shook her head. She needs to be alone for a moment.

“Then, sent my regard to your family. I'm sorry for your lost too. Your grandma was a kind woman and I always cherish every moment with her. Stay strong, Diane!”

And she left.

Jaeyun get inside and went to his office to check if he got some miscalled from Hyejin. He has one and he tried to call but she didn't pick up. He frowned but realized maybe she still on the road.

But now, Jaeyun frightened. He started to feel worry and decided to call Eunju. Just in case she knows where is Hyejin now because for now it's only Eunju live near her.

“I'm sorry, Jaeyun. I just woke up and not feeling well. Maybe you should go to her house?”

“Sure, thanks!” he end the call and bit his lower lips.

There's no way Hyejin go back to her house. She spent her night at his penthouse last night and probably still in hangover after last night drink. What if something bad happened to her?

Jaeyun tried to call her again but there's no response. He look at outside and it's raining. Dinner time already passed and he's getting worry. He want to search for her but he couldn't because he don't know where is she now.

He can't stay still so he decided to take a ride. Just in case he found her somewhere.

Hyejin just woke up from her sleep. She groans softly and look at outside the window, it's raining. She pulled the comforter to cover her body. Her eyes swollen due to nonstop crying session before she fall asleep.

The thought of Jaeyun spending his time with Diane keeps playing inside her head. Hyejin hate it so much she thought he will change but of course he won't. He will never feel enough!

“I hate him!” she hit the pillow and wiped her tears.

“Huh, he even wiped her tears! Look into her with that stare!” she covered her face and groan again.

Suddenly, her phone ringing and Jaeyun's contact appear on the screen. Hyejin took her phone and put it in silent mode. She don't want to talk with Jaeyun now. Her heart still aching!

Call her dramatic but her past still haunting her. If Jaeyun tell her the truth then she wouldn't mind at all. But he mentioned Ethan and she believes it right away! How her heart turned into pieces when Diane look at her.

Hyejin probably ignore the tears from Diane's eyes but what happened right in front of her was unacceptable! The girl was Diane makes everything unacceptable to her!

“He must having a great time cheating on me! I knew it!” Hyejin glare at her phone, holding herself from checking any miscalled from Jaeyun.

“Yes, he is!” turning her body so she couldn't see anything that appears on her phone screen.

She continues crying until she fall asleep once again. Murmuring his name as if he was there but it's only her. Hyejin needs more rest since the hangover still there.

Her mind need to rest.

Jaeyun stopping by at her house and asked her parents but she wasn't home. That moment, Jaeyun started to feel worried over his girlfriend. He assumed that she's missing but he doesn't want to tell about it to her parents.

Now, he stopped next to the park. Sighing, looking around he saw her there but there's no sign of Hyejin there. He groans, ran his finger through his hair feeling frustrated by her sudden missing in action.

He sent a few text just in case she will reply but it didn't work. Jaeyun can't help but asking for Eunju's help. Only Eunju could help him right now.

“Where are you, love? Don't do this to me... I can't lose you again...” he said softly while closing his eyes.

“Did I do something wrong to you? If I do something wrong just hit me, scold me! Just don't go away, Hyejin.” he wiped the tears that flow down his cheeks.

He can't lose Hyejin again.

He will find her.

But, where is she?
