Flowerfield ~ Han Jisung

Chapter 4 :<

"We should go out after school." Jisung says to our group sitting at the cafeteria table.

It's the following day and despite the amount of complaining that was done yesterday, people seem to be adapting to school pretty well. As for Jisung, he is much more relaxed and back to his playful self. It seems as if our excursion to the Flowerfield did him some good.

"Again? Didn't we just go yesterday?" Seungmin argues.

"Yeah but I left early yesterday because I wasn't feeling it."

"That sounds like a you problem."

"Shut up. That's not gonna happen if we go today, I'm pretending as if my problems don't exist."

"You know money doesn't fall from trees right?" Minho says. "We can't just go to restaurants every day."

"It's fine we can just make Sooyun pay."

I almost choke on my rice in an attempt to hold back a fit of laughter.

"Jisung!" Minho shouts, "You can't just say that!"

"What?? Isn't she like a millionaire?"

"She's literally right there!"

"Guys, it's fine," I assure with a grin, "I wouldn't be opposed to paying, ninety percent of what Jisung said is true."

"Jisung hyung is just trolling noona, we're not gonna make you do that." Jeongin harshly shoves Jisung, "besides, I can't go today, I have a date with my girlfriend."

The entire table falls silent.

"I'm sorry, did you just say you have a date with your girlfriend?" Hyunjin says after a long pause.

"Yes? You heard me right."

Silence yet again overwhelms the table as everyone is trying to process what we just heard.

And then the dam breaks.

"Jeongin...WHAT??"

"What the fuck is going on!"

"SINCE WHEN DO YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?!?"

"Is she pretty?"

"YOU WERE HIDING THIS FROM US?"

Once the entire table finally settles down, Jeongin speaks again.

"Did I not tell you?"

"What the fu—" Changbin starts, "NO YOU DID NOT TELL US."

"Oh. Well, I have a girlfriend, I met her at camp. She lives in another city and we can only really text, so this date is super important."

"Holy shit."

"Our baby's all grown up!"

"I'M ALMOST SEVENTEEN!" Jeongin shouts.

Each time someone asks Jeongin about details of his new relationship, the entire group explodes. When everyone settles down, another question is asked, and we explode again. It takes quite the while for everyone to actually settle down.

Even I'm surprised. Jeongin is so nice and has those fox-like visuals, of course he can pull girls. It's just that he's always been the youngest in the group and this was all just so unexpected. In a good way.

"So who else is in a secret relationships we don't know about?" Seungmim says, "Except for Yeona and Minho."

Felix places his chopsticks down on the table. "Erm, I date around but they only last like two weeks. It's kinda sad."

"Hm?" Seungmin hums, "I thought that's what Hyunjin did."

"It was," Hyunjin admits, "but I got so sick of that."
