The Domestic War
Over 50 years ago but changing history so much and the new country of EverVille (ForeverVille) an area of peace for all animal kind especially Dogs and Cats. Historic enemies. Like the mythological Britain and France. Anthropology such nonsense... anyway I'm getting off topic. Oh EverVille peace and harmony for anyone, some of the most hospitable animals to live. That was a first for our world. Dogs and Cats followed the same religion and the god of 'Bastemis' but the two species had different ways of worshiping. The Dogs loyal and playful, thought that Bastemis would love golds, gems, stained glass and beautiful places of worship to send faith. But the Cats calm and quiet, thought Bastemis loved more bland places of worship to be the only thing animals who followed him thought of during the services. The disagreements would vary from pup to kit and in the end Army to Army. The two species thought their ways of worship were better. Dogs thinking that the Cats way was to little to be a good place of prayer for Bastemis and the Cats thinking the Dogs would get to distracted from Bastemis to pray well. The animals were disgusted with the other branch of Domestisism to realise that Bastemis was a hybrid of Dog and Cat for a reason the to species would thrive together.
