NOBODY'S POV

It was another day... and Ivory was back at it again, texting her father, Alex.

[ DAD 😇‼️💯 ]

{ Alex }: “I left you some money, me and chris are going out to dinner.”

{ Ivory }: “ohh so you're on a date?”

{ Alex }: “Ivory, stop.”

ALEX POV, 3RD PERSON

Alex set his phone down with a grunt. Seriously, did she ever give up on shipping them everyday?

“What's wrong?” Chris questioned the sudden annoyance.

“It's just Ivory again.” Alex responded reluctantly.

“I don't know, maybe she's onto something.” Chris said jokingly, chuckling after.

“Don't do this also.” He responded angrily.

“Calm down, what's got you worked up?” A brief moment of silence came.

“You're right, my bad.”

The rest of the way there was silent, other than the occasional glance at one another.

IVORY POV, 3RD PERSON

Ivory laughed out loud while putting the phone down. Another message exchange for her to post on tiktok. She ran down the stairs, quickly grabbing the money. 100$ on the table.

“Hm, wonder what I should do with this.” She pondered in her head.

Ivory eventually settled on ordering take out. She had extra money left and figured she'd just buy whatever with that.

11 PM, NOBODY'S POV

It had been pretty late. Alex and Chris were just arriving home while Ivory was watching tiktok in her room.

“We're home!” Chris called through the house. No response.

They assumed Ivory was asleep and went off to their rooms, going to sleep.

CHRIS POV, FIRST PERSON

I wonder if Ivory is right. Wait, that's such a stupid thought. You're just friends, Chris. Nothing more. But what if we are? No. You aren't. But, maybe? No. I'm so weird, why am I arguing with myself over Alex? So what if we're living together, we're both single, and Ivory keeps shipping us? Doesn't mean we're dating. Okay, I just need to shut up about this.
