Percy couldn't bear to go back to the camp after all his friends died.
Even his wise girl. Annabeth. His beloved girlfriend. The one he'd went into the pit for.
Even his mother. Sally. She was dead, too. Murdered in her own home while Percy wasn't there.
He'd never get to see them again. What was worse is that he had no one left. Not anymore.
----------------------------------------------
Percy was running from a 'lady' chasing him. The mist kept people from seeing the truth.
It was a siren. Not a siren who looks like a mermaid from the myths and fairytales.
In fact, they weren't aquatic at all, nor did they have a tail. They had wings with feathers, like a bird. They also had beaks.
If you asked anyone, it wouldn't make sense, but it did to Percy. Birds sing, so it makes sense that the sirens looked like birds.
Percy grabbed his pen, uncapping riptide and swinging it through the air, striking the siren.
He let out a relieved breath until he heard someone speak.
"Perseaus Jackson, put the gun away and surrender." A voice called out.
The mist must make the mortal see a gun. He clutched his sword tighter.
"Tony, that's obviously a sword...right? That's what mortals call them? Swords?" A booming voice asked Tony.
"That's a bow." Another voice argued.
"It's a dagger." Another said.
Percy turned around to see a group of people. He doesn't get out much, but they seemed to be famous from all the looks they received.
"Okay, okay. Perseus Jackson put the weapon away." Tony said.
The guy with the booming voice paused. "Wait, Perseus Jackson? That sounds familiar."
"Thor, you say that about everything." The arrow guy said.
"Shut it, Clint!" A red-head girl said, glaring at Clint.
"Natasha!" He growled out with a slight whine, almost like a child.
"Sorry, but why are you after me?" Percy asked.
"Perseus Jackson, you-" Tony started to say.
"Percy." Percy corrected. "Only my enemies call me Perseus."
"It'd be better if you didn't interrupt me." Tony said.
"Say my name right, or you're an enemy." Percy said. "Also, it's a sword, not a gun, dagger, or bow."
Thor narrowed his eyes, studying Percy.
"Thor, cut it out." Tony snapped.
Percy knew of Thor. He capped his sword before he got onto one knee, despite not wanting to. He knew God's liked to be showed respect.
"Umm, what?" Natasha asked, confused.
"Ah, you know of Gods?" Asked Thor.
"He probably saw it on the news-" Tony started to say.
Thor's eyes widened. "That's it! You're Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon!" He said, cutting Tony off.
Percy's eyebrows furrowed. "Percy. Only my enemies call me Perseus." Percy said. "Also, can't use electronics except for his monter proof phone that...Leo made.
"I've heard stories of your bravery on Asgard!" Thor thundered excitedly. (See what I did there? :)
Percy stood up until he felt a tranq hit him, but it didn't even make him dizzy.
"Really? A tranq?" He asked, taking it out.
"The fuck? That's enough to take down Thor!" Clint said.
"I'm, umm, not Thor..."
"I am Perseus 'Percy' Jackson, son of Poseidon, Demi-god of the wind and sea." Percy said. (Please tell me you got that reference...)
