Keith POV

"With there being no change in the bonds," Adam continued, "there is a very small possibility that Lance could still be alive."

Keith's breath caught in his throat, his heart pounding with a mixture of hope and disbelief. "How... How is that possible?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"We don't know for certain," Romelle interjected, her voice tinged with caution.

"But the fact that the bonds remain intact despite Lance's absence is a rare occurrence. It suggests that there may be more to his fate than we initially thought."

Adam nodded in agreement. "However, we must approach this with caution. We cannot afford to raise false hope or jeopardize the stability of whats left of the Pride."

Keith nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I won't say anything until we have more concrete evidence," he promised solemnly.

"Good," Adam said with a nod of approval. "For now, let's focus on addressing the divide within our ranks and maintaining unity."

-----------------------------------

The meeting with the Paladins was tense yet necessary.

Romelle and Adam represented the Pride, their expressions grave as they discussed the growing concerns within Voltron.

"It's not just about the external threats anymore," Allura began, her voice carrying a weight of urgency. "There's something strange stirring within Voltron itself."

Romelle, furrowed her brow. "What do you mean?"

Hunk stepped in, his eyes scanning the room. "We've noticed unusual fluctuations in the energy readings of Voltron. It's as if there's a disturbance in the very core of the lions."

Pidge, the tech-savvy Paladin, leaned forward. "Could it be a malfunction? Or maybe some kind of external interference?"

"We've considered all possibilities," Allura replied, "but this feels different. It's like Voltron is trying to tell us something, but we can't decipher the message."

Shiro, the Black Paladin, nodded thoughtfully. "We've encountered similar phenomena before, especially during battles with powerful adversaries. Could it be related to the recent rifts in reality?"

"It's possible," Hunk acknowledged. "But we can't ignore the fact that this disturbance seems to be growing, becoming more pronounced with each passing day."

Keith, standing beside Shiro, spoke up. "Whatever it is, we need to investigate. Voltron's stability is crucial, especially now that the universe is facing new threats."

Allura nodded in agreement. "I'll task Pidge and Hunk with analyzing the data. We need to get to the bottom of this before it escalates."

During the meeting with the Paladins, Keith couldn't shake the thought that the strange energy fluctuations within Voltron might be somehow connected to the possibility of Lance being alive.

As the discussion continued, he subtly signaled to Adam and Romelle to step aside for a private conversation.

"Adam, Romelle," Keith began, his voice low but urgent, "do you think there's a chance that these energy disturbances could be linked to Lance?"

Adam and Romelle exchanged a glance, understanding the gravity of Keith's question. Romelle spoke first, her voice tinged with hope and caution.

"It's possible, Keith. As Lance is the blue lion he and the other lions are deeply connected. If Lance is out there, alive, his presence could be influencing Voltron's energy."

Adam nodded in agreement. "We've seen stranger things happen in the universe. The bond between mates can transcend even the boundaries of technology and science."

Keith's heart raced with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. "What should we do? Should we investigate further?"

Romelle placed a reassuring hand on Keith's shoulder. "Let's focus on the data analysis Pidge and Hunk are conducting. If there's any indication that Lance's presence could be affecting Voltron, we'll know soon enough."

Adam added, "But we must proceed with caution. We can't jump to conclusions or raise false hopes without concrete evidence."

Keith nodded, a determined glint in his eyes.

As Keith, Adam, and Romelle rejoined the meeting with the Paladins, there was a subtle shift in the atmosphere.

The other Paladins couldn't help but notice the serious expressions on their faces and the whispers exchanged during their private conversation.

Curiosity hung in the air, palpable as they waited for the discussion to resume.

Pidge, always the inquisitive one, was the first to speak up. "So, what was that about? Anything we should know?"

Keith exchanged a brief glance with Adam and Romelle before speaking.

"It's nothing to worry about at the moment. We were just discussing potential factors that might be contributing to the energy fluctuations in Voltron."

"But you seemed pretty serious," Hunk chimed in, his brow furrowed with concern. "Is there something we should be aware of?"

Romelle stepped in smoothly, masking the underlying tension with a reassuring smile.

"We're still gathering data and analyzing the situation. Once we have more conclusive findings, we'll share them with everyone."

Shiro, the leader of the Paladins, nodded in understanding. "We trust your judgment, Romelle. Just keep us updated on any developments."

Keith looked away from the faces of his friends. He hated keeping secrets, expecually a secret this big.
