'Today was the day. Today was the day only the greatest video game device came out, and I'm stuck in bloody maths...' Aiden angrily thought to himself while not really playing attention in maths class. 'It was November 8th 2015 and it was the day the GameChamber finally opened. The most revolutionary, advanced and critically acclaimed entertainment system to ever have been created. No one exactly knows how it works apart from those developing it, but it will be virtual reality just as Tony promised. I can't wait till this bloody school day finishes.'
'Pssst, Aiden, what's he on about? I've been staring at Maria's arse.' Myles (Aiden's best friend) lent over and asked Aiden.
'Haha Les you perv, I don't know I was thinking about the GameChamber. It's gonna be sick mate!'
'Aiden, Myles, shut it! One more out of turn action and you'll be spending after school with me!'
The two boys quickly quietened and carried on doing their work. Well not really, Myles was fantasizing over Maria and Aiden was watching the clock tick by. The GameChamber was not your ordinary game console. You didn't buy it from a shop and take it home, the GameChamber was only available in five places over the world, London -which was where Aiden and Myles lived- New York, California, Tokyo and Beijing. There was a huge new building in each of these cities where players would have to buy a membership to go and play there.
The bell finally rang, Aiden picked up his bag went over to Myles who was chatting up Maria, dragged him away and started running home, 'See you there mate! Don't be late!'. Aiden ran, ran like the people in the games he would soon be playing. Ten minutes later he arrived home, had a shit, got changed, and ran straight back out to catch the bus.
Myles was already peddling down Westminster Road and soon he arrived at the very futuristic GameChamber building. After chaining his bike to a post he ran in and waited for Aiden.
When he finally arrived they ran up to the desk and showed their membership cards. The posh receptionist greeted them 'Welcome, you're just in time, and in luck, Mr Bennett himself is here to open up the very first session of GameChamber - London'
'Woah dude, you know what this means, we might get his autograph! Hey Aiden come on I ain't wasting a second!' Myles just ran straight to the entry gate and put his card into the verification machine.
Aiden stood in awe as he noticed a big projection of Mr Bennett speaking about his creation,
'Welcome all. I look forward to hopefully playing with you in game. Welcome to the ground-breaking facility of GameChamber'
