Prologue:

In a world where everything is gone and nothing can live a community has been built, founded by the government before the outbreak. Its name is Hillside. A society that is equal, that is protected by leaders and they live as one. One body and one soul connected by what had happened. They're main priority is to survive but they don't realise yet that they are doing more than surviving, they're living.
Amidst of that a group of athletes were taking in by the community, the connection coming from someone very unexpected. When things turned even worse and the connection leaves, the community is heartbroken, she was the glue that kept them together. One person who took it hard was Alexia . A couple of miles away a girl looses the person that had been her rock since she was born, she follows her orders and arrives exactly where she needs to, Hillside. When she arrives she is met with hostility, but she must hide her secrets, the secrets that she withholds answer questions the community need. Answers the community deserve. But her mission is different, she was giving this mission by her rock. She must find her answers. Starting with two leather journals that hold all of the work they have done for the last year. The work that her rock is adamant holds the answers to a cure.
When Alexia meets this girl she firstly sees her as an obstacle, a distraction when she needs to sort her head out surrounding the Aurora situation, the situation in which she was sure that Rory was her person. What Alexia didn't know was that Aurora wasn't her person. In fact her person's journey only starts right about now.
