Kabanata 25
Two lines
Married.
I'm married to my bestfriend.
It felt like I was in a trance.
Someone stopped me before I hit my face.
"Are you really my husband?" I asked absentmindedly.
Chance chuckled.
"Yes, Crim. I am.
It's real.
Everything's real.
Muli akong pumikit sa kanyang tabi. Kinabig naman niya ako sa isang yakap.
I just woke up to ask him whether our marriage is real or not.

We went to Bali, Indonesia for our honeymoon... with my period.
Gosh, it was frustrating to have my period on our honeymoon trip. We enjoyed our trip so much.
It was just a spur-of-the-moment trip.
For this year, we're planning to take more trips abroad. Balak muna naming libutin ang iba't ibang bansa. At the same time, Chance is growing his businesses in the country.
Mayroon siyang commercial buildings at firm. It was with the big help of his cousins.
The Ponce cousins are everywhere in the market.
The thing about them, they are not afraid to venture into their fields.
Raius, my husband's brother, excels in the field of agriculture. Cadence is a politician, a governor in their province. Quentin, his other cousin, is a business tycoon. Lope is doing well in show business.
My husband is good in everything he does.
They all worked hard to succeed in their respective places.
I was awed but it didn't really surprise me how big time he is. He didn't even ask me for a pre-nuptial agreement. Ora-orada agad sa kasal naming dalawa. It was something I cherished.
"Our wedding photo shoot's already booked," I informed my husband.
He just smiled.
He's not really fond of cameras and taking pictures. Madalas na pinipilit ko lang siya noon.
Lumapit ako sa kanya at lumambitin. "You'll be fine, Makoy. I promise. Don't be, okay?"
"Crim, I'm invited to be featured in a magazine. My wife needs to be there. Is it okay with you?" "I haven't replied to them yet."
