Proud of you

*THIRD PERSON*

No trigger warning really, just colbys first time speaking after a LONG time 😊 

*BACKSTORY*

Colby learned sign language when he was 5 after deciding not to speak since he always got bullied for his voice. When he moved into the trap house with Sam (his friend who also knows sign language) he was worried that the others wouldn't know sign language either, fortunately they did. 

*STORY*

"Hey Colby, we are having McDonald for dinner, we're having it delivered. Want anything?" Jake says to the boy sitting on the couch watching family guy. 'Large fries and BigMac' Colby signs. Jake nods and goes on his phone, which Colby assumes is him ordering the food. 10 minutes later the doorbell rings, Sam goes and gets it. "Thank you" Sam said. He hands his food too everyone and they all start eating. "Taste good?" Sam asks Colby. Colby nods, they all smile. Once they finish there food, they chill and watch family guy. Colby taps his food, he uses this to get the guys attention, everyone looks at him 'going to bed' Colby signs. "Alright, night!" Sam says, the other say goodnight as well. I went to my room. What the roommates didn't know is that Colby has been trying to talk in his room, since he basically hasn't talked since he was five, it is taking a lot of getting used to but he getting there. "Cob - col - Cole Robert Bo- bro- brock" he says proud of himself he get it, what Colby didn't know was that the roommates where outside his door listening to him. Sam slowly opens the door smiling. Colby looks at him in panic that the roommates will hate him now. All the roommates are now in the room. "We're proud of you Colbs" Sam says, hugging Colby. "Very proud" Jake carries on. "Even Ashley (IYKYK) is proud" Corey says laughing. They all start laughing.
