They say in every universe a Moon will always find their Sun. I have not been able to find mine yet, walking endlessly hoping to find my Sun. They say when you find your Sun, you will know. You feel the connection instantly. That everything around you just freezes and all you can do is stare into their eyes. People call it a red string of fate, but I just see it as a connection between two beings. Why must these humans call it fate, I have no clue. I say humans because I do not feel like I belong in this society. I am an outcast observing everything. My name is Nyx. I am not a man nor am I a woman, I am just Nyx. Humans make no sense why put a label and put yourself in a box limiting your potential of being who you are?

I live my life outside the norm, living freely. I wonder if my Sun does the same, I doubt it though. They say the Sun and the Moon are complete opposites but their dynamic works. I wonder why though, why must they be different. I ask everyone but all they say because that's how it is, but why is it that way? Everyone around me has told me I question things too much and that I should just accept it but I refuse. If we just accept everything and never question anything we would all just be living in the dark. Questioning things is what makes things interesting. I always seek the deeper meaning behind these social constructs because nothing should ever be so simple.

I've been traveling my whole life writing about these things and spreading it around making sure to leave my mark in this universe hoping that one day someone will truly understand what is to be extorting. I wonder if my Sun has ever read the things I have written.

I arrived back home after I made a trip to Neptune. Questioning the people there, writing down what I learned and saw. I left my apartment that night, walking around and enjoying the stars that appeared that night. I see another human down the road, their blonde hair making them stand out from the night. Our eyes met and I felt it, the connection. I felt so drawn to them, their emerald eyes have me captive and I can't help but feel so warm. I have finally found my Sun.

I walk towards them, and they walk towards me. Before I could even process what was happening, I was already face to face with them. They called themselves Sol. We both started a conversation while walking down the road. They called themselves Sol and they identify as female, which I will respect. My Sun will always have my full respect. This moment will be our first memory of each other, under the night sky.
