By the way, FaithFields0 helped me write this. You should go follow her and read her stories. \(*-*)/ (This is our roleplay, just with more details and better grammer).
I walked toward the coffee shop that just opened last week. I heard a lot about it from the students in my class and was kind of curious to see what it was like. A doorbell chimmed as I stepped inside and let the door swing close behind me.
I looked around at the place and stepped in line for the register. The room was nice and open with little tables and wire chairs in the middle. There was soft music playing in the background and I whistled the melody under my breath. The cafe was packed with people. It must be pretty good if it had this much business. Looking past the humans again, I saw that the walls were painted a light brown and had little pictures of coffee and sweets sprinkled around the walls. Cute.
I was so consumed in the decor that I hadn't noticed that I was at the front of the line until the cashier said, ''Excuse me? Sir.''
Quickly snapping out of my daze, I looked over at her. ''Oh umm,'' I moved my gaze to the menu and chose the first thing I saw. I felt my cheeks heat up in embarrassment. Hopefully nobody noticed.
After she handed me my drink, I thanked her, paid, and walked over to a small table near the back wall. I sat down and took a sip of my drink, it was hot chocolate with cinnamin and whipped cream. ''Yum,'' I whsipered to myself.
I looked up and stared out the large window. I think I'll come here again, it's nice and cozy. I played with my ear gauges absitmindly and drank my coffee.
It was a nice day today. The sky was baby blue and had really cool white puffy clouds. On my way here, I was kind of in a rush but now that stress was gone and I could relax. Good.
The doorbell chimmed again and I looked to see who the newest costumer was. It was a man who looked about the same age as me. He had tattoes all over his arms and snake bites just below his lip. He licked it every once and a while, it made me blush. The mans hair was black and messy. He wore tight black jeans and a T-shirt with a cool design.
I don't know why, but something about him made me want to keep staring. Maybe it was because he was obviously the most emo and adventurous one here, at least when it comes to his appearance.
I watched him stand in line, get his food -a slice of cake and some coffee- , and sit down at a small table by himself. He ate his food quickly and then threw it away, but instead of leaving, he sat back down and played on his phone.
I guess it was kind of creepy that I kept staring at him like this. Maybe I should say hi.
I looked down at my hot chocolate, it was cold and the whipped cream had already melted into it. I sighed. Nothing to loose now, I thought.
Walking over to him, I held my drink in my left hand and had my right deep in my coat pocket. As I got closer, I took a deep breathe. I can do this. I'm just saying hi. Then I can leave. Okay, let's do this.
When I reached his table, I saw that he was playing Flappy Bird. So he seemed pretty cool already. I smiled, ''h-hey.''
He looked up and seemed a little surprised. ''Hi.''
We both just stared at each other for a while until I held my right hand out and studdered, ''i-i'm Dan. Dan Howell. W-what's your name?"
He smiled and shook my hand before quickly releasing it. ''Uhh, I'm Phil Lester. And I like your name. Is it short for something?"
