What super power do you want?
Is it flying, strength or telepathy?
If I could choose, just for you,
Id choose the one that gives you empathy.
I would give you x-ray vision,
Though not the type you know.
The type that goes behind you doors,
To discover what you don't show.
To see a smile that looks so real,
And know where the healing should begin.
To see the glimmering eyes so bright,
And know about the battle within.
You would here their laughter,
The happy tune dividing.
You would here their truth,
See what their hiding.
But sadly there is no such thing,
It's all creation of the mind.
Their is no way to discover,
What others secretly want you to find.
