"Curette." Then my assistance handed me what I said.

I used the curette to scrap the remaining tumor inside the patient's head. After I removed it, I put it on a container for biopsy.

It's been hours since I started this operation and we're still in the middle of everything. I stretched my back and tilted my head to both side. I can feel my joint popping.

"We can take a break Dr. Yizhuo." Park jay said. He's assigned as my assistant is this hospital. He's also a second year trainee and still a long way to go.

"I'll continue, and you can take your break. Just send Yongbok to assist me." I said.

Some left and their subtitle came inside the operating room so we resume the operation. Jay didn't leave me and he said that he'll stay.

"Suction." I aid because the blood is blocking the view inside the area I'm cleaning.

"You want to close it?" I asked my assistant.

"Yes, Dr." He said straight away. He's a second year trainee and closing heads and spines were too basic for them. That's why doctors often trust their assistant with these.

" finish this and rest after."I stood up and give him a way to seat and do the rest. "Thank you for your hard work everyone." I announced and they bowed to me.

"Good job, Dr." They said.

After saying those words and letting my assistant to do the rest of the job, we are dismissed automatically but I stayed fr more minutes until Jay finished closing it.

"You're improvement is far enough to know everything. I'm so proud." I said to Park jay and I tap his shoulder.

"I'm happy that I'm assigned as your assistant again, I have lot of things to learn." He smiled.

"I know. Go now and take your lunch. That operation took time to finish and I know that you're tired."

He bowed politely. "Thank you doctor." He said and left me.

I started to walk and went to the information desk where there are nurses responsible in taking notes and others documents.

"My schedule please." I smiled and I saw them blushed. Oh, these girls.

"Oh, hello Dr. Yizhuo. Here it is." She handed me a list of my schedule today. There's no schedule for operation but if there's an emergency that is urgent and needed to do an operation, I'm still available because there's just check ups on my schedule.

"Thank you. Send it to Park jay please." I handed back the list to the nurse which name is chaewon with the pen on my hand.

"By the way, doctor. Someone is waiting for you, she said that she'll be on waiting area." As soon as she said those words I averted my eyes on the waiting area.

I saw my unexpected guest sitting and waiting for me patiently. A smile formed on my face. "Thank you. Don't forget to take a break and eat your launch." I smile to them and again, saw them blushing.

I walked towards the woman and kisses the right temple of her head. She was startled a bit but when she saw me,she gave me the sweetest smile in the whole universe. "You didn't tell me that you're going to visit. I should finish the operation quickly."

Aeri stood up and shook her head. "It's okay. You don't have to do that. I just want to give you this." Then she extended her arms and handed me a paper bag.

I opened it and I saw that there are foods inside. "Wow. Thank you." I held her hand. "Let's go to my office. I want you to eat  with me." I winked at her and dragged her to my office.

As we entered the office, she scanned i with her eyes. "I bet you designed your office own office." We sat down on the black sofa and I put the containers on the table. I removed my white coat and I put it in the back of the chair.

"I designed it a year ago but I was transferred to Madrid for months. They didn't bother to use this office because it's just for me, that's th decision of th Vice President off Neurosurgery department." I smiled and started to eat the meat.

"Oh, I searched about Neurosurgeon and I found out that your work isn't easy. It's matter of time, life and death."

I nodded. "That's why we need to be enhanced and skilled enough to enter the operating room, on wrong move, the life of the patient might be in danger. No one wants it to happen." I said while chewing. "By the way, I love this! You cooked so well, Aeri." I gave her a thumbs up.

"Thank you. But mom is a greater cook for homemade foods. So I'm sill learning it, for when the time comes..."

"When try time comes, you will cook for me every single day before and after going to work. I don't mind if I won't taste restaurant foods if you do that.  So promise me that you'll live with me under the same roof when you said yes to be my lover." I pinched my cheek and drank the orange juice she made.

"Live.... in" she stutters.

I nodded. "Why? Aeri, we're not teenagers anymore an this is not a puppy love. I want to be with you every single day of my life." I put down what I'm eating and faced her. "I said that if I make you mine, then there's no turning back but it's fine if you don't want that idea. I mean the live in thing."

Is it wrong for me to feel this way? Am I wrong for doin they because for the longest time, I want to be happy? Aeri treats me like I'm the happiest and she can make me feel the love that I wan effortlessly. You can't blame if I want  to live with this woman. She's beginning to be my life now. I will say it again, there's is no turning back.

I wanted this to happen l, I wanted to have this, growing relationship with her and I will take responsibility on it.

"I was just started because no one asked me to be in that situation but you." She smiled and held my hand. "Don't worry, I'll think about it, Ning."

A smile formed into my lips when I heard that. "I will wait then." I kissed her forehead. "By the way, I already met your stepmom  and unnie, where's you dad."

She learned her back on the sofa while looking at  one of the paint in on the wall. "He's dead." She smiled weakly. "That's what my mom said. Love killed him."

"Enlighten me, please." I said then looked at her sad face.

"No, maybe another time." She averted her eyes on me that tears flowing unstoppably.

I hugged her tight. "Hush now." I said while caressing her back. "Is not necessarily if you don't wan to talk about it." I kissed her forehead to comfort her.

We were on that position when Aeri stopped crying but seems like she doesn't want to break the hug because she rested her head on my shoulder.

After a few minutes, I heard the door opened. "Oh! I'm sorry, Doctor. I thought you're alone so I didn't knock." The man bowed his head politely and greeted Aeri.

"What is it Jay?" I stood up an wore my doctor's coat an grabbed the stethoscope to cling on my nape.

"There's an emergency operation and there's no available on dry doctor right now. Dr. shin and Dr. Lee is in the middle of an operation." He said quickly.

I averted my eyes to Aeri. I saw the latter nodded while smiling. "I will go now. I have to check my café." She said sweetly am I pulled her for a hug.

Sh eventually broke our hugs with her reddish cheeks. Maybe because there's someone watching us. I pinched her nose and laughed. "I will pick you up later after my duty. I'll go with that urgent thing now." I kissed her forehead and walked outside my office.

While running to the operation room in the first floor, Park jay talked. "She's a hot one, Doctor. You caught a big fish." He laughed, trying to tease me. Park jay knows everything about me, it's obvious from his personality that he loves gossiping around. He even knows that I am married to someone.

"I know. And I won't let it go this time." I winked then tapped his shoulder. "Let's go."
