Far far away, in deep space. In the constellation of the Hare, there was a planet called Lepus. And on that planet there was a city called Orionis.

The sky was always full of stars, it was forever night time there. The planet was full of glowing trees and flowers. It was a very peaceful place.

In the city there was a powerful yet kind queen, her name was Gliese Arneb. She was very beautiful, the people loved her. With long curly white hair, purple eyes, and long rabbit ears.

The queen had a son, and he was the prince. His name was Leporis Arneb.

"Akari, that is my true name..." Bluebell tells her.

Akari stares at him in wonder...

Bluebell continues his story.

The prince had short light blue hair, and golden eyes. As well as blue rabbit ears. He was adorned with a dark blue kimono, it was decorated with stars and waves.

The prince sat on the clear flooring. You could see through it and see the stars and planets. His kimono was sprawled out on the ground behind him. He peacefully looked out beyond.

The room was dim, it was made out of opal stone. But it was illuminated with glowing star lights, and from the light beneath. The prince smiled to himself, watching the people down below, through the looking glass. Watching, humans.

A person enters the room, slowly walking towards him.

"Leporis sweetie, what are you doing in here? It's almost time for you to leave on your journey." A kind voice says.

Leporis turns his head. It was the queen.

"Oh, mother. I was just looking at them one more time. It's hard to believe that I was chosen to go to this planet, to help them." He says as he stands up.

Gliese smiles at him, her long light blue and purple kimono was draped far behind her, hiding her hands in its long sleeves.

"Oh, but you've dreamed of this day for so long. I know you're very fond of humans. But, come, let us get going. To your sending off ceremony."

She holds her hand out to him. Leporis places his hand in hers. They both slowly stroll out of the room. They walk down the long corridor. It was open to the outside.

In between the many columns you could see stars and an endless ocean.
Shooting stars cascaded down across the horizon. They would slow down and turn into ships, coming in to dock at the port.

Leporis looked afraid. He looked up at his mother, his ears folding back.

"How long do you think it will take me to complete my task?" He asks her.

She looks down at him and smiles, closing her eyes. She places her other hand over their clasped hands.

"Who knows, it could be centuries. But do not be afraid. I will be here when you return. My dear son."

He smiles up at her, but then looks away with doubt.

"To be honest. I don't want to leave you, or my home. I'll miss you so much mother!" He tells her, throwing his arms around her in a hug.

She smiles and pats his head, stroking his fluffy hair and long soft ears.

"I know sweetie, but it is something that we all have to do. We were made to help creatures around the universe. And humans are special, they are very similar to us, but very difficult, sometimes violent. So I can only trust this task to you. I believe in you, I know you can help them."

Leporis lifts up his head, tears running down his face.

She wipes them away with her kimono sleeve, then she holds his face with her hand.
