Chapter 0: The Opening...

...if you have been wondering, yes, that right there is where you live. On that singular one heck of a rock floating around in seemingly endless space, known as, 'Earth'. Humanlike have existed for countless eons on that planet ever since Adam and Eve! And their... two children... ahem...

But let's not dwell on the peculiarities of their family tree, or technically our family tree? Instead let's go to the year of the 1950s, where a man who goes by the name of William Higginbotham, driven by his inventive spirit, brought forth a creation that would forever change the landscape of entertainment itself.

This said creation was a small machine of... two lines, and a ball that continuously bounces back and forth to the opposing side till it hits the ground below, kind of like tennis! But it was more... digital.

And so, from then on, the vast and ever-evolving realm of gaming was created. Since the creation of the two-dimensional sports game known as 'PONG', many or more-so dozens if not millions of people have played video games as a way to fill up their boredom with entertainment! Experiencing the virtual world outside of the real world. (But I recommend you do not get TOO focused on the virtual world...)

From those humble beginnings sprouted a beloved form of entertainment that transcended generations. Gaming, in all its forms, captured the hearts of wide-eyed children and seasoned adults alike. From the earliest days of PONG to the current era of cutting-edge technology, the gaming industry has flourished, offering a plethora of experiences to suit every taste.

However, there is a community amidst the gaming world full of independent games created by an independent person, small group of peoples or even small companies! Commonly known as... Indie Game.

Now unlike most ironic characters such as Mario, Sonic, Crash or Pac-Man who are from well-established franchises... Indie Games emerged from the creative minds of independent individuals, they either went from small groups of friends living in their basements, to even fledgling companies! These passionate creators, driven by a desire to craft unique and innovative experiences, bring forth a wave of fresh ideas and uncharted gameplay concepts.

These yet small but creative minds have created well-known Indie Games throughout the World's Wide-Web I tell you! Ranging from platformer (Shovel Knight, Shantae, Cuphead), to horror games (Five Nights at Freddy's, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Poppy Playtime), to actions (Hotline Miami, Hollow Knight, Skullgirls), to adventurous (Night in the Woods, Ori and the Blind Forest, OneShot), and to RPGs (Undertale, LISA, OMORI), or even a full on series or movies if you like! (The Cuphead Show, El Paso Elsewhere, and the Five Nights at Freddy's Movie)

But... Like in every single community, a question lingers in the minds of enthusiasts; what if these Indie Games came together and crossed paths with each other? Became sort of like... a crossover, stuff like Undertale X FNaF, Shovel Knight X Hollow Knight. And let's not forget about the ever-popular crossover AND rivalry of Bendy and the Ink Machine to Cuphead. With that, the possibilities are almost endless! The mere thought of these amalgamations has ignited the imaginations of fans, leading them to create a massive count of fanarts, fan games and even fanfictions with them! A lot of them!

But... let's be honest here. If you are a bit obsessed with these ideas to the point where you're daydreaming about writing a massive crossover, like some kind of Smash Bros Brawl's Subspace Emissary on steroids, but why would anyone on Earth do that?! Right?! Totally! Hahahaha! Hehe... he......
