Chapter 4

ALYSON POV

I hadn't realized I had been staring at Jc until Rachel lightly elbowed my side. I started blushing while hanging my head.

"so, how come you guys are here so late?" Trevor asks us. "they're staying here this summer." Ricky answers for us.

"let me show you guys the guest room." Sam pipes up while standing awkwardly. "okay." Rachel says while I'm still waiting for my cheek to stop burning red.

we follow Sam up the stairs and down the hall to a room that has lime green walls and a queen sized bed with a baby blue blanket and pillows.

"I'm really sorry you guys." Sam says while I put down my suitcase. "yeah, it's fine." I say looking around the room.

"No it's not!So many things could of happened to you and it would have been my fault!" I looked at him.

his fist were clenched and you could see all his anger welling up. I've seen this before, it was from my dad.

Sam turned to the wall and I knew he was gonna punch it so I ran over and grabbed his fist before he could do anything.

"what are you doing?" He asked confused looking down and his fists being wrapped by my small hands. "

Making you have one less regret in your life." I said, I let go of his hands knowing he was calm now. he smiled at me then pulled me into a hug.

I was shocked at first but then hugged back. I was released and I checked the time in my phone, it was 10:25.

"We should probably be going to bed." I told Sam and he nodded. "goodnight." he says leaving. "goodnight." me and Rachel say.

we change into pjs, I'm wearing a unicorn onesie while Rachel has a cat one. I crawl in bed with Rachel next to me.

"I think I'm going to like it here." (#Annie) I say quietly in the darkness. "hmm... maybe." Rachel replies. then we drift off to sleep.

I wake up to a blast of thunder and jump. thunder is probably my biggest fear. I know it sounds dumb but it's scary!

Another blast of thunder booms through the house and I scream. I hide under the blankets and a few seconds later the door opens.

"are you ok?" Asks someone I uncover my self shaking. I see Jc standing there shirtless. another strike of thunder sounds and I scream and jump out of bed and into Jc's arms.

"no, I'm scared of thunder." He chuckles and I look up at him confused. More thunder sounds and I hide my head in Jc's warm chest.

"it's ok, come with me." Jc says comforting me. I look back at Rachel still asleep. "Okay." I say and walk with Jc while gripping his hand tightly.

we walk to his room and he slips in bed, I hesitate then go next to him. he pulls me in and holds me with his arm around my waist.

"thank you." I say, "anytime."

I wake up and try to get out of bed but I cant, there was an arms around my waist. I relax remembering last night.

I try to wiggle out of grip without waking him up. I fail and he yawns. "uh Jc?" I say lightly pulling arm his arm. "oh, sorry." he says blushing.

"it's fine." I say he let's go of me and I leave his room walking to my room. I see Rachel stretching and we walk downstairs together in our onesies. the whole time her bothering me about leaving her.

we get to the kitchen and Connor is at the counter with a coffee mug and Ricky is cooking eggs and bacon (eggs and bacon, my booty's being shaken)

I put on my onesies hood so I have a unicorn horn, cause in just that swag.

I walk up to Ricky and he's putting food on plates. he hands me and Rachel plates and we take them gladly.

"thank you Ricky." I say. "your welcome unicorn." me and Rachel sit at the table and dig in.
