Paris followed Natalia up the stairs and back into the villa. She grabbed her sister's hands once the doors were closed. Pulling her closer, she wanted to make sure she was listening."Stay away from them, okay?"
"Who are they?" Natalia asked, sensing the concern in her sister's voice.
"Friends of Cameron's, bad men. Please stay the fuck away from them before I have to kill somebody." Paris replied
"I hear you .." Natalia replied with a chuckle. She knew her sister didn't play about her. Paris had been overprotective since she could remember. She was the big sister you could count on. Her and her sister may have disagreed about a lot of stuff but Paris was guaranteed to always show up for her.
"If they even look at you wrong again, tell Shane, Natalia. They are dangerous, do you hear me?" She asked, almost pleading. It was no secret Natalia was just as stubborn as Paris. She thought she knew everything and her older sister hated that they had that in common.
"Again, I hear you, Paris." Lia replied
"Paris.." Kelsey yelled from the top of the stairs.
"Yes?"
"Come upstairs!"
Following Kelsey's voice, Paris went up the stairs and into her and Shane's bedroom. "What is all of this?" Paris asked as she admired the dresses hanging from the racks. They were all different styles, all white, adorned with Swarovski Crystals. They were some of the most beautiful creations she had ever seen.
"We're flying to Russia today for a state dinner. I charged these to your baby daddy's credit card. He wants you to pick something, and we'll meet them at the airport at 8 p.m.," Kelsey said as she exited the room.
"Wow, These are beautiful." Paris was in awe as she looked through the expensive linens. There were rows of Cartier boxes laid out across the mantle of the fireplace. A white envelope sat on top of one of them.
She smiled when she realized it was Shane's handwriting.
"Let me choose.." Natalia said as she began looking through the second rack of gowns.
"Go ahead," Paris replied as she opened the envelope, pulling out a small slip of paper; just as she was about to read it, one of the worst pains she had ever felt ripped through her abdomen. Dropping the envelope and the note, Paris doubled over in pain. "Aaahh" She moaned from the pain that had invaded her body.
"What's wrong?" Natalia asked as she quickly made her way over to her sister.
"I don't know!" Paris panted, her hands on her knees she took deep breaths, hoping the pain would pass.
"Mama!" Natalia yelled as she ran out of the room and down the hall to their mother's room.
Paris attempted to calm herself down. But it felt like she was in labor, even though she knew it was entirely too early for that.
She just knew something was wrong.
"What's wrong, Paris?" Celeste asked as she made her way into the room, with Natalia on her heels.
"I don't know! Please stop asking me that and call
the doctor.""Do you want me to call Shane?" Natalia asked
"Not yet, not until I know what's wrong." She groaned.
"What's going on in here?" Kelsey asked as she came
around the corner."Aaahh," Paris carefully sat on the floor. The pain was unbearable.
"You're bleeding," Kelsey said, her voice low.
