9:37 AM

Everyone finally woke up and we're getting the engines ready. Oliver still hasn't said a word to anyone, not even Toad, I'm starting to get worried for him. We've been doing some work on Mavis and she's now in a runnable state so she's going to take Oliver and Toad back down to Wellsworth while the rest of us head up towards Kelstrope. Hopefully we can find some more engines,

11:06 AM

We split form Mavis at Cronk and we've just passed through Killdane. So far nothing of note well other than Whiff's rotting corpse in the shed. Just like Thomas and Dennis he had been completely hollowed out. Never thought about it till now, but why are the tripods draining people and engines of their blood? First they were blasting them with lasers turning them into dust but now they're after our blood. Harry came up with a pretty good theory and that it's because whatever is controlling the tripods need a certain type of blood to live. It does answer the question but how in the world could they know what blood someone has. Then again they're riding around these massive tripedal machines so I guess they would have that kind of technology. I just hope this nightmare ends soon. I just want to see my family again.

12:48 PM

We just arrived Kelstrope and I'm glad to say we found Toby! We found him and his crew hiding out in a small shed. The others were glad to have found him, but he was acting strange, something just wasn't right about him. He seemed to have been slightly distracted, but that might just be me, I don't know. I also noticed the breakdown train nearby. Why the hell is it here? There doesn't seem to be any from it wreck. Anyways Toby said he was heading towards Crovan's Gate for his annual inspection when he stopped at Wellsworth. As he waited he talked with Edward who was waiting for the last of his passengers to board. Then the rain began to fall and they heard thunder echoing in the distance. They didn't pay any attention to it until a massive lightning bolt struck nearby. Then to the two old engine's horror the ground began to move and a tripod rose from the ground. Edward urged for the rest of the passengers to get on board as Toby stared at the machine in terror. The tripod began shooting into the town Turning everything it touched ablaze or dust. Toby told Edward to run to Brendam and that he would be safe there. Edward agreed and began to run down the branch. Toby looked at the machine preparing for it to kill him, but instead went after Edward. Toby assumed that Edward had been killed, but when we told him about what Neville had said he almost seemed disappointed. Before any of us could think about it we heard the siren of a tripod in the distance so we quickly hid the engines in the yard. Right now we're all trying to be as silent as possible so I'm going to put my journal down till it's safe again,

3:23 PM

Well that took a long time, but it's all clear. As we were checking on everyone Boco told me something rather disturbing. Apparently while he and Toby were hiding in the shed Toby was mumbling a bunch of stuff about the tripods. He couldn't make out most of it, but he did hear something about how it's "almost that time again" and we're debating weather or not to ask Toby about this, but then again this whole situation could have affected him mentally. First he seemed disappointed with Edward's survival and now he's mumbling about things we don't know about, something isn't right with him. We're planning on heading back to Wellsworth later tonight to meet up with everyone else.

7:14 PM

So much just happened it's crazy. My hands are still shaking and I'm barely able to write. We finally asked Toby what had been going on with him and he revealed that he was spared by the tripod because he gave them Edward. They needed him to feed. Apparently Edward wasn't the only engine he sent to Brendam. A few hours after he sent Edward to Brendam Dougals pulled in with a goods train from Crovan's Gate. As soon as he mentioned Dougals, Donald sprung to life begging the old tram for his twin's whereabouts. Toby explained that they stayed together for a day till Toby decided it was time for another sacrifice. He told Dougals that Donald was at Brendam and that it would be safe there. Douglas didn't take a second to think and raced down the Brendam branch in search of his twin. After that the old tram made his way to Kelstrope and had been here ever since. Donald went into a fit of rage when he heard this, yelling at Toby calling him several words I won't write down. Toby snapped back saying the only way to survive the new world is by serving the new gods and giving them what they need. This began to escalate as Toby said that we should be thanking him as without his efforts we would have been killed. This pushed Donald over the edge and his charged at the tram. Befor we could react to what was happening it was too late as Donald rammed into Toby shoving him across the yard and by the time we realized it, it was too late. Toby was sent flying into the breakdown crane and the sound of crushing wood filled the yard. The sight was horrific as the arm of the crane went right through the back and protruded from Toby's face. Donald immediately regretted his decision while we were all silent. We stared at the wreckage unsure about what to do. We didn't have much time to think as we heard the sound of a whistle in the distance and we were shocked to see Emily along with a truck full of coal, a van, a workscoach, an old branchline coach both of which were full of People. She said there was no time to explain and that a tripod was hot on her tail and we had to go. Once she said that the tripod came into view and we began getting everyone on board. Emily raced away with Boco and Donald while we were having trouble starting up. Just as we were leaving the yard the tripod hit Henry with one of its legs throwing us off the line. As we hit the Ground me and Harry were knocked out cold

9:58 PM

I woke up somewhere around 10-ish I wanna say and Harry is still out cold. Henry is surprisingly still alive, but he's mumbling about something. I'm not sure what he hasn't responded to anything I've said. I looked around but there was no sign of the others. They wouldn't just leave us here. Would they?
