Attacks

The attacks kept the Paladins on their toes as new villages were targeted and sacked daily.

But that wasn't the worst bit. Not in the slightest.

Firstly, the Pride was becoming more and more agitated, Romelle's control slipping further each day. Whispers of dissent echoed through the ranks, and even the most loyal members were beginning to question her leadership. The tension was palpable, threatening to erupt at any moment.

Secondly, the lions were refusing to form Voltron. Despite the Paladins' best efforts, the mighty robot that had always been their beacon of hope and strength remained disassembled. The Paladins couldn't understand why.

Allura, piloting the Pink Lion and serving as the left leg of Voltron, was particularly distressed by this sudden mutiny.

"They're storing energy," Pidge speculated, furrowing her brow as she examined the readings on her console. "But for what purpose?"

Hunk shook his head, frustration evident in his eyes. "We need Voltron to protect these villages. Without forming Voltron, we're leaving them defenseless!"

Allura clenched her fists, feeling the weight of leadership pressing down on her. "We have to figure out why the lions are acting this way. Something is influencing them, and we need to get to the bottom of it."

As the Paladins gathered in the control room, Shiro's voice cut through the tense silence. "We've always trusted the lions. There must be a reason behind their actions."

"But what if we can't figure it out in time?" Allura's voice was filled with worry. "People are dying, and villages are being destroyed. We can't afford to wait."

Keith looked around at his team, determination burning in his eyes. "We'll split into teams. Some of us will continue defending the villages as best we can, while the rest will focus on investigating the lions' behavior. We need answers, and we need them fast."

"What if this has something to do with Lance" Pidge suddenly pipes up.

"Than whatever he is doing he better do it quick, cause the peace he died for is crumbling" Keith said morbidly.

Unknowns POV

"Master, the Voltron lions have yet to form Voltron—"

"It's because they can't," he replied, a smile playing on his lips as he looked down at his informant.

"Does this mean Blue Lion is close to being reborn?," the informant continued, a hint of awe in their voice.

The shadows around the Master squirmed in delight, amplifying the sinister aura that surrounded him.

"Seems I have a welcome massacre to prepare," he said, his tone chillingly calm as he turned to leave, his malevolent joy palpable in the air.
