"Tell me then, what mistake did you make?"

"I..." Somi searched for the right words. "I was careless and didn't hold the vase properly. I ended up injuring your head."

"Careless?" Lee Jingyuan smiled mockingly. "You sure are able to come up with a new way to describe murdering someone for their money."

Somi lifted her head to look at him in shock. "Grandfather, how could you think that way? You're my only living relative. How could I possibly try and harm you for money?"

"Back when you smashed that vase against my head, I keenly felt the force you applied to that blow which showed your murderous intent." Lee Jingyuan glanced at Jennie gratefully. "If Jennie hadn't rushed over in time, I would have died in your hands!"

"Grandfather, you've really misunderstood me!" Somi refused to admit to it. She turned and glared at Jennie in anger. "It's you. You must have set up this trap for me because you are greedy for the Lee family's wealth."

"Oh? What kind of trap did I set up for you?" Jennie harrumphed coldly. "Could it be that I forced you into smashing the flower vase against Elder Lee's head?"

"I..." Somi had no choice but to admit that she had hurt him with the vase.

First of all, Lee Jingyuan had personally witnessed her doing so. Secondly, her fingerprints were on the vase.

"Grandfather, no matter what, Jennie is the one with bad intentions. She wasn't satisfied with the ten percent of shares you gave her." Somi spoke as though with good intentions. "You mustn't be fooled by her."

Lisa held his wife while sitting on the couch. When he heard Somi pushing all her crimes onto his wife's head, he dearly wished he could shoot this whore to death right this instant!

However, this was the Lee family's matters and he had promised not to interfere. Thus, he maintained his silence.

When this matter was settled, he would eliminate Somi, this troublemaker!

Lee Jingyuan was unmoved by her words. He sat down on the couch and a servant quickly served him a cup of hot tea.

Kai and Huang Zhishu remained standing. No one paid any attention to them.

It was silent in the living room for a moment. Lee Jingyuan unhurriedly tasted the tea. "You know Auntie Qiu, don't you?"

Somi's expression turned flustered for a moment. She pretended to be confused as she looked around the living room. "Grandfather, are you asking me that?"

"Obviously."

"I don't know her." Somi shook her head obediently.

Lee Jingyuan lifted his hand and a servant brought a stack of photos over.

In the photos, Somi was captured while in a secret meeting with Auntie Qiu. The photos clearly depicted scenes of Somi handing a large bag over to Auntie Qiu. After Somi left, Auntie Qiu opened the bag and counted the money inside. There was around a hundred thousand dollars.

When Kai and Huang Zhishu saw the photos, they both turned pale. However, they remained silent.

"Do you recognise her now?" A hint of rage could be heard in Lee Jingyuan's voice. "She is the Kim family's ex-servant. Tell us, why did you give her a hundred thousand dollars?"

Somi did not expect her meeting with Auntie Qiu to be photographed! She felt a sense of foreboding and immediately began making up stories. "It's like this. I was out shopping once and nearly got into a car accident. It was Auntie Qiu who saved me. I gave her the money as a form of my gratitude."

"Why did you say you didn't know her earlier, then?"

"I didn't wish to ruin my benefactor's reputation." Somi lied to his face.
