I Promise (A Yeinkook Fanfic) [On Hiatus]

The next day Yein comes a little bit late. Fortunately she comes just before the teacher enters. Jungkook is looking at her as she walks fast to her seat and panting. Yein takes a quick glance at the male and he quickly looks at the teacher

"Why are you late?" Mijoo quitely whispers as she's done hooking her bag on the back of the chair. Yein sigh before answering the older female

"I woke up late.. This will never happen again.." Yein said and still catching her breath

"So.. How was yesterday? You followed Jungkook right?" Mijoo said and smirks

"what??" Yein startles as she knows Mijoo noticed her yesterday. She immediately looks at her friend with a surprised expression

"Yah.. So what did he do until he always has to run away?" Mijoo said nudging her left arm

"I will tell you later at home.." Yein said clearly not interested telling her the "time" with Jungkook yesterday

"Yaahh~ come one.." Mijoo whines really curious of what the younger female did yesterday

"Sshhh.. Mr. Oh will notice us.." Yein said trying to make her friend stops and changes the topic. Mijoo just sigh and gives up. Mr. Oh is just writing some tips to make a good performance and as Yein done talking she quickly gets her book and pen and writes the tips on her book. After a while he starts to explain each tips for every kind of stage (performance, hip hop, and singing). She takes note for the singing part and glance at Jungkook which is clearly not paying attention as he is talking with Jin next to him. She rolls her eyes and contines listening to Mr. Oh. After an hour they are given time to counsel with him for some tips to make the stage better. First it was the hip hop stage and next is the singing stage. When it is Yein and Jungkook's turn they lazily walk to his desk and she sits down on one of the chair that is prepared in front of Mr. Oh's desk. Jungkook pulls the chair a bit further from her chair before sitting down

"Soo.. Have you guys find a song yet?" Mr. Oh asks and faces both of them. They just stay quite and Yein looks down in embarrassment. She never felt this frustrated before on an assignment. She always worked well with her partner and always ready before they even have to collect the assigment

"It looks like you haven't.." Mr. Oh said and sigh. They feel very embarassed since they probably are the only one who is not prepared at this moment

"Mr. Oh we really can't work together.. This is going to be a disaster.." Jungkook finally opens his mouth and complains. Yein nods. This is the first time she feels the same with his words

"You guys are not trying hard enough.. Look around.. I've partnered everyone who really can't work together.. But look now.. They can finally come up with something.. It's just because you are not really trying that hard to work with each other.." Mr. Oh said sincerely and the two just look down not wanting to meet his gaze. This is the first time for them to feel ashamed in front of Mr. Oh since he is known to be the easy going teacher. Yein then sigh before having the courage to look at him

"I really don't want to be ashamed on stage.. So please help us find a song?" Yein said with full of hope. Jungkook looks at her and realising it's better to forcefully work with his most hated person than going on stage and not performing anything

"Finally.." Mr. Oh said relief. He then tells them to look at his laptop screen and there is so much songs to pick. He explains some of the nice song that he thinks they can pull off. They listen well as they think hard of the consequences of choosing the song. They want a song that can amazed the audience but not too hard for them to sing. After a while they finally reach a decision and choose the song 'Erase' by Hyorin and Jooyoung. It was a burden as they knew that the song has partner moves but they finally choose it because they think it will be a great performance
