*shy POV*

As I was about to finally sleep for the past hour of blinking and staring at the wall, I heard soft crying coming towards the training route.

I hazily stand up and follow the sound. As I look at the training route, I saw cliff crying softly holding something in his arms.

It was a teal scarf. "My gift.. " I thought as I walk towards him. "It's all my fault the he's died.. I should have stop it.. But I can't.. Why does everyone I love die?.. *hic*.. " cliff muttered while holding the scarf even tighter.

"I'm useless... I couldn't even save the one I love... " he muttered again, while crying softly.

I felt guilty. "I'm so sorry cliff. " I thought as I stand in front of him. "Why are you sitting outside cliff? " I said as I sit right beside him.

He didn't answer, "why are you crying? Is something wrong? " I asked gently to cliff. "I miss him.. "He mumbled. " who?.. " I said gently knowing the answer.

"Light.. " he cried even more. "It's alright.. Everything is ok.. " I said patting his head. "I don't know how to make people stop crying.. What the hell I'm gonna do? " I thought.

Suddenly he hugged me. "You remind me of him.. " he said. I smile gently and let my wings come out. I use my wings as a blanket for the both of us.

"A lullaby? " I asked to him. He nodded yes, "light does that to all the Steve's when they can't sleep.. " he explained. I smiled as I think of a song.

"Cant the future just wait?.. "
"Can the deadline come fashionably late?.. "
"I could push every goal back~.. "
"Take control back~.. "
"If they roll back the rate.. "
"And which time start to fly~.. "
"Never landing.. "
"Or standing by.. "
"Never taking a break~.. "
"Never making me retry~.. "

Cliff starting to calm down and cry went to sniffles.

"A Nickle a dime.. "
"And a quarter a two~.. "
"But maybe it's time to let time.. "
"Pass through~?.... "

As I look at cliff he fell asleep and and scarf he grip went loose. I smiled at him. "I miss you too buddy... " I said before the sleepiness returned and slowly sucumb to a deep deep slumber.

*cliff POV*

As I wake up I was surrounded by some familiar people. "Aww! The diamond boy with his mother! " Aaron said as he chuckled. I realized I was hugging shy. "Aw!  That's  a  adorable! " assistant said.

"I was going to experiment shy, oh well! Maybe next time! " professor chuckles. "Good morning cliff! How you doing? " Griffin said sarcastically.

I blush from Emberassment and push shy away. I realized my action "shy-" "*THUD *" shy hit his head from the ground.

Shy instantly woke up while rubbing his head, he stand up looking drowsy and angry.

"HEY! WHAT GIVES! I WAS ENJOYING MY SLEEP HERE! " shy said half asleep while holding his head.

We all laughed at shy reaction.
