Yuna
She was excited, they will move away for real. She never thought her parents to be that serious about these words they said.
"We will move away, Yuna" her father told her a few weeks ago.
"Please hurry up now, the furniture car is about to come in a few minutes. We'll have to put every furniture we have to the outside. Its going to take some strength so come on now and help us". Her mother was stressing and already had some frames under her arms. Yuna took the bag with the cutlery in them and crockery in general. It was really heavy, she almost wasnt able to lift them up. In exactly that moment the furniture car came around the corner and stopped in front of the door, a big man stood out off his seat. He came directly to them and helped the Family packing everything in the back of his car.
The flight and drive from Kōbe to Oxford took almost a whole day. They also used the plane because it was a bit cheaper and the family got also some other furniture cars organized.
A new house. That'll be exhausting. New people; finding new friends. I don't want that, I want my old friends back. Yuna didn't know what to do so she just packed out some frames out the boxes and tried to find the perfect position for them on the chimney, which was located in the middle of the living room. On one of the pictures in the frames were she shown with her parents. She grew up without siblings and without any family members. The only person of her family who she knew, was her aunt Camilla, who lived near to Oxford. One of two reasons why they moved to this country.
Camilla, the tall, well-trained and always good-looking woman was a really nice person who always made gifts for everyone. Especially for Yuna's father because he was her son. She made some smaller gifts for her mother, like flowers or some kitchen utensils and for Yuna herself she made big presents, even bigger than the presents of Yuna's father. All the time Camilla wore a headband like everyone else at her age. Some times in an orange color which made her always opened, hazel colored hair looks even better, but for the most times she wore a headband in a green color which emphasized her light green eyes with a cadmium green circle. Her freckles were lightly shown on her cheeks and got more and more on her nose.
After Yuna found the right positions for the frames, she called her mom and showed her the masterpiece "Please put them a few more steps to the left sight, they doesn't seem to be in the center" her mom groused as always at everything Yuna does. Yuna sighed and said: "Okay." She did what her mother told her and went on to the next thing she could do. She was lifting up one of the boxes and didn't knew what was in there. It was also really heavy which made the guess even harder. Maybe kitchen utensils or something. She opened it and was surprised to find some books with suspect covers in them. Yuna didn't know that they had books like them. In some weird colors which she couldn't describe; her eyes never saw these colors in her life before. Some weird books, also in a weird language. She was about to ask her mom about them but she knew, she'll say something offending to her again. Like: "How can't you read that? It's so easy and you can't do it?!" After these thought Yuna knew she wouldn't ask her mother. Instead of that she would ask her father, he's definitely nicer to her than her mom.
At the dinner table they talked about how they wanted to manage everything: doing the household chores etc. because now Yuna has to help by cleaning the house too. Her parents think, she's at the perfect age to learn to take some of this responsibility. "Your school already starts tomorrow, honey" her father told her in a very nice and comforting name. She still was kind of outraged and shocked. "Already tomorrow? But we just got here today. How will I be able to cope with that? I don't even have time to clearly arrive here! How am I able to feel like home here if I don't even have time?!" Yuna's voice got louder after every other word. "Calm down. It's not even a big deal. We also have to go to work tomorrow. Are we supposed to freak out too now?" The voice of her mother, how much she hated it. She knew her parents won't understand her so rushed out of the kitchen and run into her room. She threw herself into her bed and started crying.
How much she just hated everything at this moment.
