~ Author's pov ~
After the ring ceremony, all the guests were having dinner, and Adiba and Himanshi were also enjoying their meal. "Himanshi, can you please bring the gulab jamun for me? If I go to get it, Juliet will wander off," Adiba said, looking into Himanshi's eyes.
"Himanshi replied in her flirtatious manner, "Hey, I can bring you the moon and stars; what's gulab jamun then?" Adiba said lovingly, "Awh, but just bring the gulab jamun for now."
Himanshi went to bring the gulab jamun and was about to place it on Adiba's plate when someone else came and started serving himself. It was none other than Siddharth. "Don't you have something called manners?" Himanshi asked, pointing her finger at him.
Siddharth was leaving without responding when Himanshi stood in front of him, blocking his path. "What's your problem?" Siddharth asked without any expression.
"You! You're my problem!" Himanshi exclaimed. "Who do you think you are? No matter how great a king you are, you can't misbehave with me!"
"I behave with anyone as I wish, who are you to teach me?" Siddharth said in his rude tone.
"You can misbehave with whoever you want, I don't care, but you can't misbehave with me. Understand? You better understand!" Himanshi said with a full attitude, flipping her hair as she walked away with the gulab jamun.
Siddharth shook his head, muttering to himself, "Junglee billi kahin ki..."
Some time later, Himanshi handed Adiba a bowl of gulab jamun. "What happened?" Adiba asked, noticing Himanshi's bad mood.
"Nothing happened, I just ran into that arrogant guy again," Himanshi said, rolling her eyes.
"Arrogant guy? Who?" Adiba asked, confused, as she had no idea who Himanshi was referring to.
"It's a long story, I'll tell you later," Himanshi said, brushing it off for the time being.
Adiba nodded and said, "What about the dance performances we've prepared?"
"Oh yes, I had forgotten all about it because of that arrogant guy," Himanshi said excitedly. "Now that you remind me, let's do it now!!" Adiba exclaimed, holding Himanshi's hand and leading her to the dance floor.
All lights turned off and spotlights went on adiba and himanshi
..'Mera jhumka utha ke laaya re yaar ve, jo gira tha Bareli ke bazaar me'
Adiba sang, wiggling her earrings.
'Main to thumka lagaake sharma gayi,'
Himanshi continued, shaking her waist and shyly hiding her face with her hand.
'Boli ghoongar bandha denge, mein aa gayi,'
Adiba sang, bending down and playing with the ghungroo of her anklet.
'Mujhko nachaake nachle, aaja nachle nachle mere yaar tu nachle,'
