Dr. Evelyn Hartley, along with her colleague, Professor Malcolm Blackwood, made a special mask. The mask covered the whole face of the person who would wear it and a special extension on the mask was made which looked like a crow's beak. The mask was generally worn by the doctors at that time to prevent them from getting affected by the Plague. This mask was named as the "Raven's Mask".
When Ethan came to know about this special mask, he wanted to have one for himself. One day he saw a mask falling on the ground, he rushed and took the mask up and wore it. After some time, the mask was attached to his face, he could not get the mask out anymore. He was wearing a black coat, now he was looking like a demonic figure.
Now, Ethan cannot come before people, as they would get scared of him.
Nolan, the best friend of Ethan, got affected by the Plague. When Ethan got to know about it, he rushed to Nolan. Nolan was way scared to see a demonic creature like that. But as soon as Ethan touched Nolan, he started to be cured. Most of his symptoms were coming towards its end.
Ethan was surprised! Nolan said, "Who are you?", "Your best friend", Ethan said.
As soon as Ethan said the words, he vanished. Nolan did not believe him to be Ethan.
Slowly, the story of the crow-headed demonic figure started to spread across Italy. The demonic figure had now got the name of "The Plague Doctor".
Agent Marcus Kane, was the agent of Dr. Hartley, the Agent had also got to know about the crow-headed demonic figure, he now had informed Dr. Hartley. After listening to such information, Dr. Hartley said, "Well, the crow-headed mask was made by me. But what about the powers? It's impossible for a doctor to get such powers."
A foundation named "The SCP Foundation", had partnered with Dr. Hartley and Marcus Kane, after getting information about the demonic figure.
The foundation had given a SCP id to the demonic figure called "The Plague Doctor" of "SCP-XXXX", which was then changed into "SCP-049: The Plague Doctor".
