TheZapper act 7 [Darkness Consumes]

Cody, Jack, Noah, and James were all sitting around Cody's TV, all playing Mario Kart. Cody was in the lead, and when he finally won, he swung his arms up in victory.
Cody: "Whooo! Ha ha h- ow!"
Cody suddenly pulled his arm back down in pain, wincing slightly.
James: "You good Cody?"
Cody: "Oh yeah I'm alright. Just my arm. The cut still hurts from you know.. That."
Jack: "Oh yeah the stalker? Still hurts huh."
Cody: "Yeah.. It was pretty deep and it's down my whole forearm. It's probably gonna scar honestly."
Jack: "Yeah looks like it. You're honestly lucky it wasn't any deeper or she probably would have cut into some tendons or nerves."
Noah: "Ugh gross.."
James: "What was up with her? Like I know she was a creep and a stalker but why did she go after you?"
Cody: "Well in her words I 'caught her attention' more than others, so she started following me for a while. She apparently found out that I'm TheZapper which is honestly pretty scary. And she kept saying she did this because she 'loved' me."
James: "So she kidnapped you, stabbed you, killed other people and stalked you because she loved you?"
Cody: "I mean yeah that's how she said it. I mean I'm lucky she didn't do worse to me she said she cut my forearm to see how I reacted to pain."
James: "Eeesh.. Do you even think you would like her even if she wasn't a stalker?"
Cody: "Meh I mean she was pretty I guess. I mean maybe she could've even been my type. But I'd rather not be in danger of getting stabbed every day with a girl. I mean I'm not really specifically looking for a girlfriend anyway. How about you?"
James: "Eh I dunno. I don't even really feel any attraction to girls anyway. I don't know why but I just don't."
Noah: "I mean it's probably obvious but I'm just too scared to go out looking for one."
Cody: "Maybe we should just stop talking about this. I don't really like to remember that time anyway. Just makes me sick to my stomach.."
Jack: "Yeah let's just get back to Mario Kart. I swear I'm gonna beat you this time!"
Cody: "Oh it's on!"
The boys continue playing their game for a while, until a while later, when Cody went on his phone, seeing that there's news of a mysterious person in all black wreaking havoc across the city nearby.
Cody: "Oh look at that guys.. welp we have to go beat that guy. Let's get going."
Jack: "Great there's always some villain to ruin our day. And I thought this was supposed to be our break.."
The group quickly got their hero suits on, and once Cody grabbed The Shocker, they all headed out, running to where the scene was.
Once they made it, they noticed that the city was already messed up a lot. It was mostly barren in this area, though lots of the buildings were already broken, set on fire, and covered with strange black tentacles, similar to Jacks.
Cody: "Hey Jack, why are your tentacles here?"
Jack: "Those aren't mine!"
Cody: "Weird.. Okay James and Noah you guys go into the buildings to see if anyone is inside. Noah use your water to put out the fire and James you can run through the fires to help the stuck people. Me and Jack will scout out the area and see what's going on."
James nodded and ran over to one of the burning buildings, with Noah soon nervously following behind. Cody and Jack started to move through the, now empty streets, looking for any signs of life.
Cody: "Jeez.. this is kinda creepy isn't it?"
Jack: "Yeah agreed. It's just so.. Empty. I remember your parents brought us both to this area when we were younger and it was so crowded. It's so weird seeing it empty."
Cody: "Yeah.. wait I think I hear something!"
Cody and Jack stopped in their tracks as they heard screaming in the distance, along with some crazed villainous laughter.
Cody: "That's our cue! Let's go!"
Cody and Jack quickly ran to where the screams were coming from, making their way to the main part of the city, where they heard manic laughter, and more screaming, where crowds of people were running away. Cody and Jack looked at each other with a confused look, before looking up to see where the laughter was coming from. There was a boy around their age in all black clothes, aside from the dark, almost blood red lightning bolt running down the middle of the shirt. The two moved closer to get a better look, and Cody soon realized who this person was. It was the person who showed up at his house the day he got his powers, and the same one that stole some of his blood for some unknown reason. It was Kay,the one who said he was his brother. Jack also looked at Kay fearfully, which Cody thought was a bit strange since he's usually not the type to be so scared, but his attention shifted once he heard screaming again. Specifically by a young kid that was trapped in Kay's darkness tentacles which were coming out of his back, similar to Jacks. Cody and Jack ran closer to the scene, trying to get into Kay's view.
Cody: "Hey! Down here ya jerk! How about you put the kid down will you?"
Kay: "Ah! TheZapper? Just who I wanted to see... put him down you say? Well if you say so!"
Cody: "Oh god damn it..."
Kay smirked sadistically before letting go of the boy, and letting him fall. Before the boy hit the ground, Jack used his own tentacles to create a safe landing pad for him, before bringing him away from Kay, comforting him, and soon letting him run off to his parents.
Cody: "Dude what is wrong with you?! That was a child!"
Kay: "I don't care! I don't discriminate! I'll kill everyone equally!"
Cody: "That's just messed up man. Well anyway we're gonna have to beat the crap outta you and put you in jail, so if you could make it easier for us and just let us, that would be great."
Kay: "Well isn't that cocky? I'll let you know I'm not your simple villain of the week. I am a much bigger force to be reckoned with."
Cody: "Yeah yeah grandpa lets get you back to be- woah!"
Suddenly Kay shoots a bolt of lightning out of his hand, straight at Cody and Jack, but luckily they both move out of the way into. The lightning was similar to Cody's but instead of Cody's bright, vibrant, yellow glowing lightning, this was a dark black, with barely any glow, as if it was a corrupted or manmade copy of his own.
Cody: "Stealing moves now?"
Cody sent his own bolt of lightning at Kay, but he blocks it with a shield he makes out of the dark tentacles.
Kay: "Heh! You'll have to try a bit more than that to stop me!"
Cody: "Must be my lucky day."
Kay sent another bolt of lightning at Cody which he once again dodges.
Kay: "Now it's only two of you as well.. This will be almost too easy!"
Cody: "Nah I have a feeling you'll be taken down by only two of us."
Cody shot a bolt of lightning at Kay which he predictably blocked, but as he did, Cody shot another secretly, catching Kay off guard as it hit him in the chest, sending him falling to the ground. He slowly got up, wiping dust off his clothes, before looking up at Cody, his sharp canine teeth shown off with his wide grin.
Kay: "Well played kid.. But you haven't even gotten a scratch on me yet!"
Jack sent one of his tentacles at Kay, trying to grab him, but before it manages to, Kay snatches it, gripping it tightly, and ripping it in have, letting a black inky substance flow out until Jack retracts the tentacle, while the two watch Kay walk closer. Cody pulls out The Shocker, extending the blade as the electricity turns on, and he holds it out at Kay, trying to ward him off, until Kay creates his own sword, made from his darkness tentacles, very similar to the one Jack had made when he was brainwashed to kill Cody. Kay swung his sword at Cody, aiming for his neck, but Cody blocks it with The Shocker, while the two stare at each other, their swords pushing against each others.
Kay: "This is your doing Cody.. you could have taken my offer.. We could have owned this world.. we could have truly been brothers."
Cody: "We're not brothers!"
Cody shoves Kay back roughly, knocking him off balance, until he swings at Cody again, slicing a cut into Cody's left arm, leaving a tear in his sleeve and causing him to bleed.
Kay: "Whoops! Looks like that's gonna leave a mark!"
Kay smirks looking at Cody, until suddenly falling to the ground, as Jack hits him behind the head with a dark bat like weapon he had made. Kay angrily gets up looking back at Jack, before letting out multiple dark tentacles from his back, grabbing Jacks arms and slamming him against the wall of a building, as he stares at him sadistically.
Kay: "Nice eyes you got there kid! Maybe I should take them for myself.."
Kay lets out another, more sharp and claw shaped tentacle, going closer to Jacks eye, until Cody runs over from behind, slashing the tentacles with The Shocker, causing Jack to fall and get away from Kay, as Kay looks back at Cody, growling angrily as he grit his teeth. Kay started enveloping one of his arms with darkness, making a blade like appendage that he swung at Cody, narrowly missing as Cody got out of the way.
Meanwhile, James and Noah were looking through the few broken buildings, making sure that no one was trapped inside.
Noah: "Jeez.. it's really creepy in here.. And dark.."
James: "Oh come on Noah! Don't be such a baby."
Noah: "Hey!"
James: "I'm joking I'm joking! It's alright. I mean you are kinda right. It is pretty creepy in here. But we still have my head as a light source."
Noah: "Yeah true.."
James: "You know you really should get over your fears. Not everything wants to hurt you."
Noah: "Well.. yeah I know it's just.. I can't stop being scared.. When I was younger my older brother scared me all the time and it made me paranoid and scared of everything.. And he still sometimes does it.."
James: "Aw dude I'm really sorry about that. Why can't you tell your parents about it? Like I don't mean to prod or anything but theres no way you can just stop him?"
Noah: "Well.. my parents aren't really there.. They're always working or doing something. I mean they still feed us of course but that's almost the only time they interact with us.."
James: "Ah.. I see. Well you know the team is always here whenever you need us. We're usually free if you wanna hang out or get away from your brother."
Noah: "Thanks.. Speaking of the team do you think Cody and Jack are okay? I mean they left on their own to go fight that guy so we don't know how powerful he is."
James: "Nah they're probably okay. We'll catch up to them soon. They went off on their own anyway. And they're smart enough they can fight pretty well on their own."
