At the end of the same day, three things happened.

Jungkook left the hospital.

Martinus kissed me.

I overheard management's plans and found out that they were basically sending them all to certain death.

First things first. When Martinus and I returned from our successful-unsuccessful trip, it was just dinner time. So we went to the main hall. I wasn't in the mood, so when she saw that a teenager was sitting in my seat, facing away from me, I slapped him gently on the head and told him to get out of there. The little boy turned around and I saw Jungkook's face frozen in mock fear.

"You've changed. And your hand is heavier"

"Jungkook!" I was very happy and a little sad that he accidentally hit me. He almost died a few days ago.

We ate together for the first time in a long time. I really missed the time spent together and the fact that everyone was in a good mood. We ate our asses off and laughed more than at any other table. Some people looked disgusted by our noises.

After dinner, we each went to our rooms, and as I was about to say goodnight to them both, Martinus grabbed my hand and told me he had a surprise for me in his room. Jungkook was no longer there, suspiciously.

The room was dark and I was wondering if it was some kind of trick, but Martinus suddenly turned on the TV.

"All the episodes of H2O you missed."

He remembered. He thought about me. He knows what I like.

I threw my arms around his neck in a hug full of gratitude. Dusk had fallen outside, and the only light in the room was the faint glow from the TV. I moved away a bit and we looked at each other's faces, a few centimeters apart. Its so beautiful and good. He leaned in slowly and kissed me gently on the lips. First very carefully, and then, when he was sure I didn't mind, a little more passionately. I kissed a boy for the first time. It was a great feeling. Being so close to someone, trusting each other so much to experience such an intimate moment together.

I watched the series cuddled up to him until I fell asleep.

When I woke up, it was still dark. Martinus was not around. I had a bad feeling.

The thing about my intuition is that it's usually not there. I can rarely rely on her, but when she does, she's never wrong. That's why I immediately went out looking.

A stream of light was seeping from under the principal's office door. I approached carefully.

"They left an hour ago," one vote.

They left and didn't tell me anything? They probably knew I would object. They probably told you to keep quiet.

"When should they come back?" Second voice.

"They won't come back" was definitely the director's words.

What? What is he talking about?

"Director..." the second voice.

"Sometimes you have to sacrifice the individual for the good of all. This death will be a good excuse to..."

I didn't care what kind of sick plan they came up with. I had two idiots to save.
