Act 5: The Boy from the Light

The ambulance siren woke Noah. He passed out after the fight with Liang and his men. He remembered being stabbed.

"Oh yeah.. I got wounded again..." He mutters to himself. One of the two rescuers noticed him half awake.

"Sir, can you tell me your name?" The rescuer's voice is a bit blurry, slow and sounded heavy. Like one of those old disc players in a bad condition to play music. Noah tries to look at his rescuer. He knows it's a female but he can't see what she looks like over the glare of the light from the ceiling of the ambulance.

"Sir? Are you okay?" The rescuer asks again. Her voice is stern and calm. Must have had a lot of practice and experience to be this calm in situations like this one. But this one is not an ordinary event.

"Man, all I wanted is to find love. To have a girl to love and would love me back. But why is this world so cruel to me? Why does it feels so hard to find...." Noah drifts again. Everything went dull and silent. He's eaten by darkness.

As he goes unconscious, Kaguya is racing against time to rescue her sister Aiko who is now facing against the five ruthless Night Reapers.

Aiko is being surrounded by dark clad warriors. All of them holding their katana and ready to strike. Each one looking at every single movement Aiko does.

She knows she's in deep trouble. The Night Repears are considered the toughest ninja squad in modern history. Trained by the Kujo clan to be ruthless and efficient. Their mastery in the arts of ninjutsu is almost unrivaled. Assassins at the highest levels.

Aiko twitched her right arm holding the katana. A simple and fast movement that caught the attention of her opponent. One of the Night Repears took the bait and he attacks. Aiko dodged it and used the opening to slash her opponent and moves away from the circle of enemies. Her attack was blocked but she managed to slip through their defenses and ran.

The five ninjas go after her. All of them moves at an abnormal speed and yet their feet is silent. Aiko jumps above a car and into a roof of a house then jumped again to another building. Her enemies followed suit.

As she keeps her pace and distance, she turns back and she threw multiple shurikens and some of them are small flash bombs. It gave her a couple of seconds as three of the five felt dizzy from the blast. The other two responded by throwing their shurikens to Aiko. She jumped and twisted her body in the air, barely dodging the bladed ninja weapons. After landing on a roof, she runs again.

Her speed is enough for her to maintain a good distance from her pursuers. She smiles confidently but then one of the five appeared in front of her and starts to hack with his katana.

Aiko slides on the roof and bends her knees, her chin barely dodged the blade and she grasps her own katana then quickly pulled it and slashed the back of the legs of her opponent.

The four managed to close in on her and jumped. All of them throws shurikens while in the air. Aiko blocks the bladed ninja stars with her katana while on her knees but many still managed to hit her body. She took hits on her thighs, chest and forearm then she felt the poison from the weapons right away.

"Dammit! You guys don't play fair!" Aiko's vision starts to get blurry. She feels like her body is starting to fail her. Behind her hip is a small pouch and she puts her hand inside it then  she grabs one of her emergency items. A small ball like bomb. She throws it in the air and a bright pink light sparks in the night sky like fireworks. The glow illuminated the five dark clad ninjas with deathly stares.

"You won't live long little girl." One of them starts mocking her for being weak.

"And so do you." Aiko smiles as a katana suddenly stabbed one of the five ninjas from the back. Piercing his heart and the blade goes through his chest.
