Clarke's been either baking or hiding out at her Gallery mostly the weeks after the close-call at Delphi. After seeing Lexa go running straight back to Costia the morning after their night together, her pettiness returned in full-force and was so easily triggered seeing Lexa back around Mercedes again. She wasn't proud of it. It was always her biggest vice, not being able to hold her tongue. She wants what's easy, go figure. Well she can have it.
She keeps re-reading all of their messages from recent weeks, from Lexa's vacation all the way back to the night of the charity gala.
We're better off this way. It was so foolish to have given in in the first place. But the truth is, Clarke hasn't been able to stop thinking about those lips ever since their night together.
Hasn't stopped thinking about how they had roamed and made themselves at home again against her skin.
Or about the slow, soft touches in the shower.
The fragile, longing breaths pushed back and forth against each other's faces under the stream of water.
It's haunting her whether THAT now was the last time she'd ever kiss Lexa.
She's just getting color back into her face after days of barely sleeping. She finally dragged herself into her studio for one of her classes, and afterwards set her mind on some acrylic therapy herself.
